Just became the ninth player to receive Exceptional Status from Hockey Canada. The Everett Silvertips have the #1 overall selection in this year's WHL draft-2024-and I hope they select him. Psyched that I'll be able to see him play (hopefully) for the next three seasons.

@@Brich0974 General logic is that they would. However, why did San Jose take Pat Falloon over Scott Niedermeyer with the second selection in 1991?? Everyone knew Eric Lindros was going #1, and Scott Niedermeyer was regarded as the next best player in that draft, yet he went third and had the best career of anyone drafted in 1991. Saying there's a chance.
