he said "Fernando, 2" meaning Fernando was 2 seconds behind, which is nowhere near enough time. I did not get the impression that he ignored the radio at all. I got the impression that the engineer should have been updating him on Fernando's gap for at the minimum 10 seconds behind.

The onboard audio paints a completely different picture. They have moved the audio earlier in the lap so it looks like he was disobeying his engineers orders. He was actually told to go ahead much closer to the line. Dishonest editing. Very disappointing.

That clip was definitely edited to mischaracterize the incident. That radio transmission was much later than shown here.

1:31 - this is just unbelievably manipulated. In reality, Vettel's engineers told him about Alonso the moment he was already right behind him and had to brake hard - that's why Seb answered "I know" and then asked, why his RE didn't tell him about Alonso in advance. I agree, I also find this particular scene rather misleading because the raw footage is totally different from this

I love Norris sounding sad "I did the best I could" then his engineer saying "I hope you're sitting...p2" 🤣

While Alonso was happy to get to the points, he noted later that he wished it was against anyone else other than Russel. Alonso showing mad respect for the talents of Russel, not bad for a rookie driver uh? ;) (Such a shame that i have to point out that i made a joke about Alonso being in the Rookie test program last summer... he's the "Rookie" i was talking about... )

1:37 Most misleading editing of a team radio ever. Go watch the original radio and you'll notice that his engineer told him about Alonso way too late. This just makes it seem like it was Vettel's fault. I don't care if you delete my comment like you did with the other guy who pointed out the same thing, I will keep posting my comment.

Lando did so well!

Sainz is honestly an amazing driver, matching Charles in a car built for him. Meant to be the "second" driver but 2 points separate the two.

Gotta admire Charles' racing style though. Doesn't always pay off but Some of the moves he was trying on Perez. Give them both a faster Ferrari and we are in for a treat.

Max has insanely high expectations about the other drivers during free practice. But not without reason. He *never ever* gets in the way of anybody. I haven't seen anybody complain about Max blocking a lap in years... Watching his onboards on slow laps, he's literally checking both his mirrors every second. It's insane, but he does expect everybody to be as vigilant as he is.

I think there engineers are fine, stuff happens. But why did they deliberately edit Vettels radio to make him look at fault for blocking Alonso? Just watch the onboard, he gets told about Alonso after it’s already happened!

Remember a few years ago when Lando was happy with a P5 or P6? And now he's upset about a P3... long way he's come, what an amazing driver. Props to George for giving a world champing a run for his money in a lesser car as well!

The f1 admin has some kind of hate for Vettel(probably British) you made it seam that Vettel was aware of Alonso in Q2. Come on at least try to hide it.

Yeah so weird, they even edited out when vettel said "I blocked alo-" before his engineer said "alonso 2 behind". Basically they edited it so that it seemed like vettels engineer told him in time, like why?
