Just balance it out homie. It's much harder to lock into a rail on a Snowboard, but it's easier to balance on the rail as you're lower to the rail and can rock your board from toe edge to heel edge with finer precision from your ankles.

Doing anything in Snowboarding requires input from your whole body, especially when you start hitting jumps and rails, unlike Skating which requires a much greater concentration of movement in your feet & ankles particularly. The main difference in eating shit between Skating and Snowboarding is that you can see and feel it coming on concrete but when you catch an edge Snowboarding, it will catch you off guard and absolutely body you. Unless you're skating 8+ stairs, then you're unlikely to receive the same full body punishment as you do Snowboarding. That said, there's more moving parts in Skating so the likelihood of hurting yourself is increased. :) Do both, and then go Surfing to soothe your soul
