As the sole fan and current off-duty maintainer of New Horizons (Old mod similar to the one in the new video that Somehow still works and has support for Astronomer's Visual Pack). I'd love for you to do an Ernus landing. It's a industrial blast furnace of a planet with about twice Tylo's gravity and is VERY close to the sun. Or, If you want a planet with 2Gasl and an oxygenated 7atm atmosphere(it also has Tylo, a blue pill with .1g, and a rock in a distant retrograde orbit. or if you want a Bigger Jool V-equivalent there's Vanor. If you want the correct files, It's under Borv413/New Horizons

I actually played quite a bit of the New Horizons mod back in the day, (2017) in fact it was one of my favorite planet packs! If I remember correctly, I did try to do a mission to Ernus once, but it was just with a small probe using repeated Moh gravity assists to get an orbit. I've got a few other videos that I want to make at the moment, but maybe I'll give it a try again soon enough!

@@heffmarktwo I just recently, for the first time, reached Jool with a probe. I i think i get it now. Though it was both wonder and slight fear too, since i wanted to set periapsis to 400 k . A bit lower and we might soon start feeling that fresh Joolian morning.

hear me out... combine your own mod with widor, and make it 30x bigger with the kerbinzilla mod. I could see a planet with pver 100gs being a wonderful experience!

You’re better at this game than I am so take this advise with a grain of salt, but one trick to make docking easier is to point one dock north and the other south, this way they won’t drift away from each other as they orbit
