Awesome!! Interesting….does it fit a 17”? The backpack was narrower than I thought, I wish I coulda tested a 17” laptop.

@@EDG works with my 16" MacBook Pro! Looks like just enough room for a 17". Their website mentions up to 17", that's where I got that number

I am really surprised there aren't too many reviews there are this bag. Maybe like a handful. Eyeing this bag for about a month because I am looking for a 20-25L bag that is versatile but not extremely big. Plus I am over the whole black bag thing because it seems like every bag that has the features is black or extremely loud in color. There is a sale and I think it is time to put the trigger. Thanks for the comment! glad I could help. Yea, I actually found this bag after looking for an iPhone has that has a lanyard, and Lander popped up. Then was like "wth they sell bags!? this looks cool". Definitely a huge fan, and priced well even without a sale!

Had this bag and loved it. Sold it though because it's just too long for shorter people like me, 5'5" and under, at least for EDC. I do have their travel bag though, and the larger size is much more justified for the travel use case. Kinda wish they made more bags...They're just so awesome

Thanks for the comment! Saw your comment on the other video as well. Yea, it's for sure a tall/skinny bag. So you have the 35L pack? How do you like it? I was a little hesitant because it was a roll-top.

@@EDG I love it! It's basically the same layout as the Commuter. Just as fun and intuitive to use, with an added rolltop and a "shoe compartment" at the bottom, which I use for snacks/other quick access instead. I don't usually do rolltops either, but Lander put side zip access - and nothing to move or unlatch to get access to the side zip. And the rolltop just makes for more weatherproofing. The only thing I don't love about the bag is the type of mesh they used inside the main compartment to separate your dirty clothes. Just doesn't feel very tough, as compared to mesh from Mystery Ranch. But it's held up just fine, so can't really complain.

@@EDG I got into collecting VHS and betamax tapes back in 2012'ish along with a lot of other dead media formats. It fascinated me that any tape could have lost TV treasure on it...the commercials were utterly fascinating to me because of the nostalgia they brought me. Since then, I've been buying them off ebay, but now days, most of my tapes are donated from my viewers. It's a trip!

Great looking bag. My only complaint is the two water bottle pockets. It doesn’t make sense to me to have two of the same size pockets. I’ve never carried more than one bottle with me. It would have been cool if the second pocket could expand or something to carry a different sized item. But other than that, amazing find! How did you even hear about the company?

Yea, the bottle pockets aren't great, but maybe it's for people that need quick access off the right of left shoulder? I've seen many packs with jsut 1 bottle pocket and those are cool,....but I haven't seen a bag with 2 different sized bottle pockets. Kinda smart! Funny story, Lander sells phone cases with lanyards that I really wanted. And I noticed that they sold backpacks and I was like wth. and it turned out to be an awesome pack! Check out my other bag reviews if you're interested.

Informative video. Perhaps I missed it but links (affiliate?) to the products would be nice.

Thanks! I actually just finished the 2024 V2 version of this pack! Stay tuned, I'll be releasing the review in like 3 weeks, the pack got even better! I actually haven't put affiliate links in my videos..... this is just a hobby, so I'm trying to build the channel first. Honestly I fear that adding affiliate links makes it sounds too "advertisey", and I dont want it to seem like I'm not highlighting the negatives in order to get people to click the link. The fun of these videos is getting to say whatever I want!
