Land Rover Discovery Sport D200 2021 Review | Now with a mild-hybrid turbo diesel engine!

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The Land Rover Discovery Sport didn't exactly win the comparison test against the Range Rover Evoque back in 2015 when my family had to choose between the two. However, in 2021, it's now one of the most compelling family cars on the market. Find out what changes Land Rover have made to transform the Discovery Sport from a basic utilitarian family wagon to a luxury off-road capable 7-seater.

Hi Cameron, Just saw this video. Good choice of vehicle. The DS is a great car. The big facelift of DS, was the 2020 MY, which was in Australia from late 2019. The 2021 MY DS got Pivi Pro and the diesel motor went from a very mild hybrid system in the 2020 MY, to a proper mild hybrid system. The 2021 DS came to Australia very late 2020, or as of early 2021. There have been reviews of this vehicle since early 2021, so u r not the first person to review it. I took delivery of a new DS in June 2017. A D180 HSE. 132 kw / 430 nm. It’s been perfect Just done 85,000 kms Fantastic motor. Excellent economy. The motor has now been improved via the mild hybrid system, but I can’t complain about it in my car. The interior does now look a lot more premium, and the DS has been improved in various other ways. LR Australia should do a lot more to promote the DS. It definitely compares very well against all competitor product. LR sold approx 4,500 DS in 2016 & again in 2017, in Australia. Sales then started to drop away. Now with this excellent 2021 MY, it is a pity that the semi conductor shortage is making it very hard for LR to get decent supply. Anyway I hope u enjoy your DS. 👍

The first generation had a few issues as indicated by owners who reviewed their own car on our site. With a longer warranty period and a big step up in build quality, I'm hopeful that the second generation Discovery Sport should be a little more reliable.
