Land Rover Discovery 3 - Learn How To Fix Your Air Suspension - Change You r Struts

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I changed my front air struts on my Land Rover Discovery 3 for under $500. You will be amazed at how easy it is to change your air suspension on a Land Rover LR3. The cost of changing the shocks are a major reason that keeps people from buying a Land Rover. After watching this video on how to install struts that fear will be erased.

Oxmanagain, this video saved me tons of time with two points: 1. Accessing the inboard mounting nut from the engine bay 2. Unclipping the hose from under the wheel liner to gain more length None of the other vids that explain this procedure cover this. Many thanks!

Great video. I also own a Land Rover but after years of constant leaks with the air system, I popped the rear hatch, removed the compressor and all the valve blocks and converted my air suspension system over to coils springs and been loving it ever since. Great video. Couple things to mention. The nuts on top can be very difficult to remove. Harbor freight sells low profile sockets that you can put a wrench on also. This makes the job so much easier. And great advice for removing the heat shield to get that rear bolt. Also keep in mind you cut off old air connector to fit new. Almost impossible to get enough line unless you unclip behind the wheel liner

Very well explained. Highly organized. These LRs are fun, as long as you can avoid a visit to dealer. My wife had one of the earlier versions, a Disco SE7 and some of our best off roading memories comes from that period. Enjoy it. Thanks dearly for sharing these. Thumbs upped and I was a Subscriber from before.

Thanks for the video. I have a new project. Guy at my local repair shop quoted a heck of a lot more than a couple hours of my time and a couple hundred dollars. Thanx for the tips!

Also i have a question, are these the reason why the suspension fault would come on in the lr3?

Great Video, i just picked up a 2006 LR3to replace my old Toyota Land Cruiser, and to go along with my Porsche 911 C4 and Audi A6, and i must say, the Japanese have an issue with metal quality like the British have an issue with plastic, rubber parts and in this case air suspension, otherwise, its a pretty awesome vehicle. Thanks for the videos, you definitely scored a bunch of likes.

I'm a Mechanic and this guy has done a good job , and Land Rover Discovery Parts are not that expensive OME Parts, don't buy cheap aftermarket products, you can fix anything if you get Land Rover Discovery work shop manual and a high end scan tool
