It's been a long time since I've made a video. Just wanted to put an update out there about the changes I've made to my Disco since the last video.

Awesome looking D2. If you add fenders I think it will look complete.
This looks fantastic! I was about to guess they are 255 when you called their real size. Love the roundish shape instead of the ‘square’ shoulder tires usually have. This rig is looking amazing. Absolutely nonsense, but amazing. 👏👏👏
The rim you mount the tires on makes a huge difference, even the material aluminum, vs steel makes a difference. Good job looks good.
Looks great! Good info on the tires.
I like the way it sits. Looks great!
Looking good! I initially thought 255/85s until you explained it
I had 295/75R16 on my Jeep and D2 and the stance looked great. I also had 255/85R16 on my D2 and like you said, good for the most part, but not perfect.
Nice disco!

Thanks!
When you removed the drip rails, did you do anything special to keep water out of the rear access door?
@fitzventure

Well, I didn't remove the drip rails. They're part of the body. I did remove the trim because it's really expensive to replace and hard to find. No water issues though. The actual drip rails are full of calking and don't allow water ingress.

@@fitzventure I understand; I was indeed referring to trim. I have done the same; however, it seems the very rear section serves more than just trim, but offers more protection from water ingress. That section I haven’t removed. Yet. Your truck looks impressive! Thanks for the update; it has been a while…🤙🏾
I bought a disco 2 month ago, where did you buy headlights?? Amazing car mate, all the best from Spain🤙🏻

Not sure where to find them anymore. They are getting scarce.
What wheels are those? Just shopping for then Road One's and want to order your rims, too. Love the way it sits.

They are Honda Odyssey mini van wheels. I have a video about them.

@@fitzventure Brill, I'll just have a rummage through your back catalog.
What is your total lift now? Im looking at these tires and just put on a 3 inch. Debating 285 or 265 with the 3. I still have the stock bumper and side trim bit i do have and ARB bumper to put on.
@fitzventure

My total lift now is 3 inches. 2 inch HD OME plus 1 inch blocks. Clears the tires without issue and I have no rubbing anywhere.

@@fitzventure thanks i said screw it and got the 285s. $850 for 5 tires is a great deal.

@@tonychavalia844Yeah, you can't beat the price. I just did some serious off-roading with them and they did great. You'll be happier with the 285's for sure.
Do you still have the Inline Thermostat installed? If so how’s it holding up? Any issues?

It's still working great.
What is the stereo you have in there? And its looking great
@fitzventure

The stereo head unit is an Atoto. I can't remember the model name but it's a single DIN. I like it a lot.
so the spare can only go on the right, judging by the arrow?

Sorry, not sure what you mean. The spare on a D2 is always on the right though.
I've seen those before they look like the crosswind same generic type. I ended up getting generic once called mudclaw Eldorado. They're made in America. So now that it's cooling down I'll be going out soon. I'm down here in Tucson if you look at my profile I haven't posted videos of my rig painted yet but look at my profile Battleship Gray and then blacked out the roof and The Rock sliders and eventually I'm going to get the diamond plate Hood thing. I almost did the sarge green like yours but I didn't want to copy yours and be in the same LMAO I've done the inline thermostat and the coil pack relocation it is been fantastic also completely removed my front and rear sway bars and even with the heavy duty springs in articulate well I'm considering maybe a one-inch block and back to medium Springs now that the sway bars are gone. It flexes pretty hard though it's nice I got the same bumper as you also

I was on Facebook for a while but they didn't do much down here and they seem kind of stuck up and they wanted me to pay a membership to be included in trail runs but really I go out with my on X app and I explore much more fun places than what I saw them going to LOL I felt bad leaving the group but it just felt kind of weird

@@fitzventure have you tried sway bar disconnect? I read that you have the ome HD2 in like I do. With no sway bars at all it's still handles good on the road but off-road is a big difference

@@fitzventure absolutely! I have a parts truck I think I'd like to take the front and rear axle housings off and slowly build 4.10 gears with an air Locker rear and maybe a True-Track upfront. I don't really need that extreme but I figure maybe I will someday and it would be nice to get a little more torque to the ground with these 285 75 16. You have the 4.6 so you're already doing a little better I have the 4.0. I don't really need more power but I figure if you can gain a little torque a little less strain on the drivetrain you might as well. Part of me thinks an LS swap with an lm4 all-aluminum 5.3 would be cool someday or if I want to be really unique maybe a little Cummins diesel just sounds cool and getting like 20-something MPG would be so awesome
