it is possible to reduce the spacer height to get a tighter fit against the roof?

Do you need to install the cross bar directly over the sunroof? Can you omit that one without impacting the integrity of the rack?

Yes, you should be able to leave that cross bar out and not compromise any of the integrity of the rack.

I believe that LC 100 series have some interchangeable parts with the 1st Gen Toyota Sequoia. Would that fit a 1st Gen Toyota Sequoia?

That is a great point but we have not had a chance to verify that ourselves. You could always give it a try!

What lb/ft of torque are you tightening the bolts down at?

What do you do if your factory roof rack only has 4 mounting points?

Remove the weather stripping to reveal the correct bolt positions on LX470.

Well done... but how strong is it?!... i mean; Can it hold heavy loads e.g of an additional spare tire for off-road travels i.e on an African environment or so?!

Yes it can hold heavy loads. A tire along with all kinds of other gear would be fine. Roof top tents, etc. The week link with our roof racks is actually the structure of the vehicle roof and not the rack. That is what limits load capacity. All of that considered you still want to be careful to not add too much weight up high like that and it is important to evenly disperse the weight depending on what type of off-road driving you will be doing.

Hi, I'm looking to install Prinsu rack on a Chevy Suburban. Don't see a vid on that just a pdf and the pdf shows drilling holes. Wondering why we can't use hex bolts like in this video??

About 600 LBS static weight and about 300 LBS dynamic weight.

What kind of silicone did you used?

We use type 270 Black RTV silicone on our installs.

I have a lx470 which is the the same as the landcruiser. Do I reinstall my weather stripping. I had a prinsu on my old tacoma and had to reinstall the westherstip.

Of course it will, Land Cruiser 100 and LX470 are the same.

Yes. Just remove the weather stripping. It will reveal the correct bolt positions.

Our roof racks are made vehicle specific and we have not test fitted so we can not say if it would or not.

What size tires are on that cruiser?
