Land Clearing with a Skid Steer & Grapple

Here I help a client reclaim his land by removing invasive trees, brush and vines. I also grade out a path, storage area and yard space that I seed.
Equipment Used:
Excavator: 2021 Bobcat E26 R-Series
Skid Steer/CTL: 2021 Bobcat T66
Grapple: MTL XT Series Root Rock Demolition Grapple 72"

❤ the grapple. Just bought a mini skid and grapple. Used it for the first time today when the neighbors tree camr down across the driveway fue to the rain in Cali. So much fun playing in the rain.

That's going to be a very nice area for the homeowner, that grapple performed like a rock-star! 👍

Nice video, it looked like fun. I only get a smattering of those gigs. A forestry mulcher would have been the ticket seeing as your not burning or hauling the trees and brush. Would have turned everything to small slivers to be poured in the hole.

I got experience on the skid steer with forks and buckets and soil conditioner and concrete bucket etc and since I bought grapples I been doin land clearing jobs and the grapples are so easy to use it’s like a video game

Instead of adding a 90 to turn the hose down, look at using a 45 on each end aimed towards the center of the machine. It should give you the needed clearance and allow the hose to bend over a greater area. It would also add a visual cue when it get too close. Great job on a very overgrown mess!

I'm jealous how easy your machine takes out those trees and bushes. Great job :D
