Land Between the Lakes - 3 days of primitive camping, exploring, and relaxing

This time we pack up the Toyota T100 and head to Land Between the Lakes (LBL) for 3 days of camping, exploring and relaxing. On the way there we check out Fort Donelson National Battlefield and on the way back check out the Kentucky dam and Paducah, KY.
**NOTE, we did NOT do those donuts in the field**

The history over there is crazy. I'd love to eventually talk with someone that lived there decades ago and make a "historical" story of the area.

We visited the area a couple of years ago and loved it, but we were just road-tripping and not camping. We have a series of videos about the trip, in our "Jumping Armadillos" playlist. I have been wanting to go back with the teardrop ever since. Soon. We have another, somewhat related road-trip planned with friends coming soon. Maybe I can make a video out of that trip, as well.

@@BuilttoVenture There's a story back in 1982 where an Amish family went camping in a motor home in LBL was killed by two dogman. 6 foot 5 muscular creatures with the body of a big muscular men with the head of a wolf that killed the husband and wife and their kid where Roger supposedly the only survivor was 15 at the time and friends with the 13 year old son who was the first to be attacked and killed. The father shot one with a 12ga pump in the shoulder but got attacked and killed. Wife and Roger was in the motor home and Roger grabbed a .410 and shot the wounded dogman and it got up and ran. There was 2 dogman and Roger quickly got out the motor home and had hide under the motor home into the framework assuming the wife and daughter would follow but the other dogman came in through the window and killed the wife, the daughter supposed ran and escaped but not sure if she was ever found. Later it got quiet and Roger got out from hiding and ran and came in contact with a farmer who contacted authorities who were 2 mysterious men who weren't police who had Roger lead them to the site and gathered a small number of soldiers and found one of the dogmen up a tree that bled to death with part of the girl's green sweater in it's claws. That's the dogman The survivor has a confession of the story on cryptid studies institute

@@Mike-gi1dk What the dogman story? It's pretty accurate as it comes straight from the survivors mouth as he was interviewed by the cryptid studies institute I mentioned in my other comment. Which he goes into detail about how upset he was that other people get the story wrong and set some records straight during the interview. You're free to listen to it if you like that's covered by the cryptid studies institute. You're welcome bud
