Thank you so much for this demo! That first coat of Maybelline is exactly what I'm looking for from a mascara. Currently using Maybelline Great Lash Big. Maybelline mascaras just blow all the others out of the water for me. I need a wet one with no clumps. The Monsieur Big looks like my clumpy mascara nightmare!

Ok so just watched this recently and ordered Monsieur Big Mascara.... Omgosh! my lashes have doubled in size! Thank you for the tip. Love it. I just have to get used to the brush since I am used to Maybelline The falsies curved brush. I think I need to stop watching you for a while because you have persuaded me to buy quite a few bits of makeup lately lol. I have bellini blush, have ordered desert orchid blush and Becca tigerlily, and now this mascara. I just love peach/orange blushes. I've gone off most of the pink blushes I used to wear.

In my opinion, the Maybelline one looks way better. The Lancome one is too clumpy, but tastes are tastes :)

I *need* to know what this lipstick is!!!! Love it!!! Also I have both and Lancome is way better although Sensational is probably my fave for drugstore.

Lancome Idole, Big Monsieur, and Definitely are my ABSOLUTE fav. They're hydrating always esp Idole-non water proof.

Love the Lancôme on you! I feel like the Lancôme is more dramatic ❤️

Lancome mascaras, even the small ones in duty free eyeshadow packages were always reliable in giving me that extra eyelash thickness.

I am huge lancome fan but who else like the look of maybelline side better

Lancome wins for me. By the way the waterproof monsieur big I use during allergy season is really hard to take off with typical makeup remover. You have to really rub which can be hard on your eyes.

Most waterproofs mascaras are very tough to remove, I would only use an oil cleanser x

I need to get that Lancôme mascara.

Great video! I like the Lance side a lot, it looks so intensely black and velvety. I had a Guerlain mascara over a year ago that also looked velvety and it was such a good mascara but i completely forgot the name so i might give the Lancome mascara a try soon :)

I filmed a video comparing the Lancome Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara with the Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara , so it's nice to see what others top pick mascaras are too!!! 💕

Oof I love how the maybelline one looks at the third coat but I'm absolutely a "throw on mascara as I'm running out the door" kinda person who already struggles with mascaras getting on my lids 😅 ah well! For pretty much anyone who's not like me, this is the perfect mascara though!!

Do you set your lids with just a bit of powder, so lid oils don’t breakdown the mascara? I remove makeup with oil: with oily skin I struggle to keep cosmetics on all day, then add oil to get it all off

Maybelline is too liquidy for me and I can’t get them to unclump. The Lancôme works so great with my eyes!! I don’t want to spend that much money every time though :(

Hiya Lovely.. Just watched my first vid of your channel and loved it! Your lashes are just beautiful! X I have the most awful sparse and short stumpy lashes. Do you think this would help to lenghten them at all? I currently use the same Maybelline mascara and it does make a difference but end up with it all over my eyelids.. Doh! Sorry for the waffle hun but never posted on you tube before so you're my first and think ive got a bit carried away... Annnd... yet I'm STILL waffling 🙈 haha xx

Hi lovely! The brush of monsieur big is MASSIVE so if you struggle with transfer it won't help! Benefit bad gal bang is much smaller and the most lengthening mascara I've tried so may suit you better xx

You can definitely tell the difference....... Lancome looks better when you zoom out. I used to use Lancome cil, tht was good too. 🇬🇧X

Brilliant video I'd love to try that Lancôme mascara. I remember owning hypnosis drama mascara and loving it so I may give Monsieur big a try. I hope they do it in waterproof. Have you tried benefit roller lash? It's amazing xx

Great comparison. I love the maybelline lash sensational too!! I find it dries fast so if your lancome lasts longer than the price will be for sure worth it. I'm trying out the lancome grandiose extreme..so far I like it 😅

Lancome grandiose is the best mascara by faaar ..but i v tried maybelline recently..and it is great one too ...

This showed up in my feed, so I decided to check it out since I owned both at the same time last year and would switch back and forth between these each day. On my eyelashes, Maybelline Lash Sensational provided length but almost zero extra volume. Lancome Monsieur Big provided both length and volume. It almost looked like I had false lashes on, which was amazing to me. Monsieur Big also was much quicker to use than Lash Sensational. I had to work to try to build up the latter. Sometimes it is worth the extra money to get something that is truly superior and requires less effort. Cameras can't show everything well. Monsieur Big is worth the money for a person who loves dramatic lashes. I am going to try IT Cosmetics Superhero mascara when it goes on sale. If it doesn't come close to Monsieur Big, I am going to go ahead and splurge on the best!

May need a different remover. This mascara is harder to get off than the definicils. The better the remover the easier it is to take off and the less chance that your lashes will fall out. I like the Neutrogena oil free eye make up remover. It is cheap and works well.

The one from Maybelline looks extremely clumpy. Im going for the more expensive brand.

Its not the result when you take it on that's matter - Or yes, but listen!! Its how it stays on and don't smudge through the day that has the big meaning. Not the result right here, right now. I've tried the Maybelline but its smudging af after a few hours. So yeah, the Maybelline mascara gives a nice result, but it´s smudging so fast and don't keep the good look as it does when you take it on💁🏼

Both matter to me!! The application, effect etc. Is my personal priority, whether I get transfer throughout the day, how easy to remove etc. also matters but I haven't had any issues at all with the Maybelline smudging xx

I have Lash Domination from Bare Minerals and it's bad too ! So I just have seen videos about this mascara and after watching your video I definitely going to give it a try 🙏🏻😁 Good video ! Anna Nymo i think so, i don’t know anyone that does the eye on their non dominant side with their non dominant hand

On me they are not similar AT ALL. Maybelline's mascara gives separation and curl but no volume and it's the opposite for the Lancôme one.

I'm off to buy Lash Sensational after this!

You’re right! My lashes don’t look quite as good as your after the first use but give it a week. I like lash paradise but it flakes and dries out way too fast.
