I wasn't too impressed by the original idole, but I really love the intense, the vanilla dry down smells amazing ! But I have always been more drawn to heavier vanilla, wooden, amber type scents :-)

I like the intense more than the OG. I feel the intense one has a more “mature” feel which I really like. 💕

I own the original and I agree with most it has a feminine retro vibe. Not my typical everyday perfume but i do love it for certain occasions! I love variety but The new one sounds more up my alley ... can’t wait to try it!

Thank you for the review. I am disappointed that this won’t be available in the USA until January of 2021. I have the original and I like it but I wish the Rose wasn’t so prominent in the dry down on my skin. 💕

I received a sample of the original idole in the mail and I really love it. I think I'm going thru a rose phase right now with fragrances lol. I go thru phases like this with different notes or different types of perfumes. I've recently ordered Mon Paris intensement and it's on its way now.... blackcurrant, rose and musk, sounds like something I would really like. I really enjoy your videos Soki 🙂

I find Idôle so refreshing, it somehow transports me into a garden... I’m on a bench in the backyard, there’s a large jasmine bush and some roses behind me. It’s late springtime, warm enough to feel good but not too hot. The breeze is blowing from behind and brings in whiffs of the jasmine bush and the roses. The sun is shining through the bush, not directly on me, but it casts a beautiful light through the leaves... it’s towards sunset and I’m cutting through a ripe juicy pear. Life is peaceful and easy. That’s how Idôle makes me feel 🙂 I’m planning on getting the intense version as well, but I think later towards autumn, since you say it’s a bit heavier.

I'm super excited for the Intense version because the original 'lack' something for me and I hope the Intense will fill all my hopes. A lot of people say it causes them headache but for me is the high price tag which makes me all dizzy

I bought the original and intense haven’t wore the original but I have worn the intense and it’s so long lasting and hard to wash out my clothes hope the original is just as strong 💪🏾. Great review and Thanks for sharing 💗🙏🏾

I think it smells a lot like Lola by Mark Jacobs if my scent memory serves me well. It is also similar to BBW You're the One.

I have both, prefer intense version.

@@kaisofine iris can do that tbf. Go all soft and powdery. Did you know nivea do a Nivea EDT that smells *exactly* like the creme. That's a baby too 😂

The Intense Version is way better obviously but for me, the packaging still lacks elegance.

Have you seen Shalimar has a new release whoo hoo I wish I had the whole collection, theres over 30 I've seen. I'm obsessed with coca cola scents and dr pepper and I adore vintage heavy woodsy spicy perfume I adore the older scents that they dont make any more.

I have shalimar Eau de Parfum but I definitely want to get the souffle one and theres a new one with flowers painted on the bottle. Shalimar perfume is proper luxury.

Hialuronic acid is gooood.

I think definitely the original does...intense has more Jasmine

I really disliked the original. It gave me a horrible headache. And it actually did remind me of grandma perfume. Swapping the pear for orange sounds like it could make it a lot better

I love the opening of the original but ended up smelling like generic old lady perfume on drydown. Gave me a massive headache. 😬

Sorry but can a 20-30 y/o man pull this off kinda for the purpose of a daily , softer scent to use as a sort of after shower floral body scent? There's nothing wrong of course for those being gay/trans but I am a straight man who does have an extensive masculine line of colognes already. Just wanted to see if wearing this not to the office but as a casual daily with a hoodie and loungewear would not turn women off. So I guess my last question is ladies if you smelled this on a man passing by, would it turn you off?

Which is better? I have the original version and I would like to try and th other one.

I'm so sick of jasmine.its used way too much n too often in perfumes. And vanilla too, so tired of it. 😖😖 we need some originality brought back into perfumery. 🌹

Jasmine is one of my favorite scents when it’s DONE RIGHT. A lot of perfumes don’t use it properly.

Lancome idol the bottle is very cute but the perfume is not worth the money too light and not long lasting....

what you suggest orignal or intense???? please please reply

You know what guys. I love everything about L'Idole and L'Idole Intense on paper, and almost on the skin toi. The problem is, the fragrance is a bit soapy, especially at the very beginning!! Is it because of the ingredient pear or...?! Rating 8,5/10 *Also, my guy isnt into it unless it has at least lingered, and honestly I suspect the soapiness! Every woman knows fragrance score partly consists of one's partner's preferences! 🙂

They just released a new version, Idôle Aura. The notes sound really good 💕
