I’m not surprised that Lance remembers the choreography. Bye Bye Bye topped the charts for months in dozens of countries around the world. N Sync was super popular and they toured hundreds of places for years doing the same dances and routines over and over again. That’s why Lance can still do the dance. He can probably do these steps in his sleep.

this audience was not giving what they were supposed to give cause if that was me i would've done the whole choreography with them and not missed a step!

You would not have. These guys did this dance for years and years. When you do things like that it is transferred to long-term memory and is nearly impossible to forget.

This is the take... guy in front turns the wrong way, then looks around sheepishly, then corrects himself somewhat (assuming pronouns). Professional tip: No matter what you do for any performance, make it look like you meant to do that and it has always been that way... even when the entire drum corps goes left while you go right & are completely separated from the rest of the corps. If you look around then everybody knows you're doing it wrong & the more you look around all flustered the more sets you screw up.

They didn't use CGI. Wade Robson (their choreographer and tour director) stood in for him on the wide angle dances because of Joey's leg injury and you can clearly see it's Wade. They put him in the back and tried to keep the camera off his face as much as possible, but they didn't CGI anything.
