Lana was a beauty and she WAS a good actress. The Postman always rings twice is a great film and Lana was at the zenith of her beauty at that time. She’s also in denial about her alcoholism here. Of course she was an alcoholic. Eight marriages, married Artie Shaw on their first date, got involved with a mobster, one husband stole all of her money, she seemed to go through life with her head in the sand.

Sal Paradise She got better with every movie and she admitted when she started she knew nothing about acting. I enjoyed her work in "Peyton Place" "Imitation of Life" and " Madam X". I was glad to see her in "Falcon Crest."

She wasn't good in all her films but she was excellent in "The Postman Always Rings Twice". Her best film.

lana was good loccking and sexy looking from 15 to 30 and then it was over for her. but isn't it that way with women!
