I will never get over how well the feeling this song has, fits the feeling of the story of The Great Gatsby. So much yearning and hopefulness for a lasting love and yet right beside it, neck and neck, is that feeling of insurmountable dread that it'll all fall apart that feels all consuming in the moment...just perfection in a song truly

Every time I listen to young and beautiful or summertime sadness it makes me emotional especially when the song says “will you still love me when I’m no longer young and beautiful” bc if you really loved someone you will love them no matter how old or what they look like

Love your channel - but your review got on my nerves. You played 50 seconds of the song; then talked for 6 minutes! Then you played another 50 seconds and talked for minutes. How can you even get the meaning of the song without listening to it all the way through. I think you both missed the cynical undertone to this song that Lana was trying to convey. Also, breaking away from the song during its most beautiful moments is such a crime. Listen to the words more than talking. Lana has a "haunting" quality to her voice. Check out her rendition of "Once Upon a Dream" from the movie "Maleficient".
