To Dylon, I feel your pain truly. Severe anxiety, depression, ptsd etc. I've been sober from alcohol since Jan 2018. I had many ppl coming up to me randomly saying that I reminded them of her bc of my eclectic style and personality. I had no clue who she was until a few months ago and her music has saved my life. Her music is like gravity and so relatable. Alcohol is a tough one, I think about it everyday. I drank to take the anxiety and depression away, I will always be an addict. Don't give up! we are stronger than we think, for you to admit it takes courage and I'm proud of you! Keep fighting and remember none of us our perfect this world is an imperfect place! I’m an alcoholic too. A bad one. I never thought I could stop. I couldn’t do it on my own. Broke down and joined AA. All I know is it wasn’t me that stopped. A higher power definitely took it away. I can’t explain it because it doesn’t make sense. But neither does addiction. I’m almost 4 years now sober. My son is 10 months sober from alcohol and fentanyl. He was homeless 3 years overdosing over and over. Please go to a meeting. It works. If you have no one to talk to I’m here for you. No one understands the pain of it. The hopelessness. The loneliness. It’s like you’re breathing but dead inside ❤

I am 34 and have been listening to LDR since 2011 (say since 22?) from the beginning if you listened you know she has things to say on deeper level about pretty much everything, life, love, winning, loosing etc I believe this is her reality because on a personal level i think she is a visionary, a philosopher and also a musician all at the same time, IMAGINE a movie by LDR... a cinematic e event waiting to happen I say. I am so relived so many of us actually take the time to talk about her work.

I come back to this video every breakup I go through and god the dance where she pushes away fuels me every time.

Curious what part of it seems artistic to you? Other than being music and a video, what's special to you?

This song is amazing, it's one of my favorites. I love her

I love how (get free) plays at 3:29 after that dude leaves, and the rocket behind lana goes up in the sky..

Anyone else see how far she's evolved? She went from Born To Die to Lust For Life. She used to sing about "Living fast dying young" but ended up seeing that there's more to life than dying young and having fun.

Yes!!! Its real growth! After she did the "Born to Die" album...she did an interview with a magazine and said she's not sure she'll continue with more albums because shes written everything there was to say. But obviously we keep growing/reflecting and have new stuff to say so she came out with more!

This song is about Lana's latest scandal with producer G Easy, they were somewhat dating, he begged her to sing in his new song, she refused (no wonder, that guy's music sucks) so he replaced her with Halsey (eeek). The point of the video is, she knew and knows her worth, liking him yet pushing him away in the end. **That guy's known for singing about expensive cars he owns (name of the song Mustang) and leather jackets (similar outfit as the guy in the vid).
