This is progressive house after all so it's not empty music like EDM, it's supposed to be emotional too, so it fits well.

it was the summer before 7th grade, 8am , my mom had just left for work and I made my bread and chocolate milk for breakfast. I changed the channel to MTV, and this lovely song and video played. No, I’m here because I’m in Australia and it’s summertime. The country is struck by drought and fire and our current government has seen the decline of back burning, stripping of resources from the fire and emergency services and leading us towards a economic recession. That’s why I’m here. Because this beat is what I need in this sad summer..

No,the remix kills it. The chorus is repeated over and over making it sound distasteful. Lana's original sounds way better because of her beautiful voice and the astounding orchestra she always has in the background of her songs.
