it’s crazy that there’s a lot of people that he mentioned (even repeatedly) in his songs that never complained about how “rude” he was towards them. lana was/is a fan even though he likes to take peoples names that rhymes with the words he’s using. if she didn’t appreciated he’s work or thought he was being a dick by doing that, she wouldn’t say she was a fan.

I loved that lana said “Colombia” instead of “Columbia”. THANKS FOR THAT

They were both on the New York music scene coming up at the same time, there was probably rivalry

I love that she mentionated Abel aka The Weeknd as one of those who helped her during her debut and that if it weren't for him she would never have managed to be where she is now. It is noticeable that when she mentions it, she smiles, highlighting that they have a special relationship between them based on love and respect. That means she has not forgotten her friendship with him. I hope that some of them collaborate again, I miss them a lot.

I worked at a company that did video features on celebrities about every couple of months. When we did one on lana, she requested to NOT be filmed and to just record audio. Since we did video features only, it was very difficult trying to think of creative ways to feature her in the video with just audio. Later she agreed to be in a video when it was suggested her face be obscured in dark shadow. Finally at the end, she agreed to be on camera because she was good friends with the interviewer and felt more comfortable with him. From that, I can see that She definitely has some type of anxiety and hates being filmed in general, not just by paparazzi.
