personally, I loved the book more than the movie. it is more... more descriptive. you know, the autor discribe more details of their relationship. by the way, for the book, it exist a volume to, „Find me”. it is very cute, too.

If only I had seen this growing up in the 80's. Lana, your voice is just phenomenal and this video, well you obviously know.

This movie brought so many good memories. Summertime lovers in my youth will always be in my heart, I will never forget them. Timothee Chalamet reminded me as I was in my youth, impulsive, young, so naive, full of dreams, a romantic and got my heart broken up many times, to heal back again. Nostalgia ❤ Timothee thank you for bringing to life all of those memories of my youth. You are one of the best.

Calling this movie my favorite I've ever seen would be an understatement. It has a special place in my heart. It sparked feelings I'd never felt before.

What Elio went through was heaven and hell all together. pain and sorrow can be overwhelming but joy of having such a deep and meaningful connection with someone so special will overcome anything . Unfortunately Oliver's have to deny themselves a life they are meant to live. hope sequel will be made down the road, with a same cast

When Timothee was asked about the potential sequel about two years ago he said that he had read the second book and the whole cast was pretty enthusiastic about makiang the second film but it would be more like a plan for the next decade because both actors were still too young And with the whole mess around Armie Hammer it's not really likely they'll be filming anything with him any time soon

Um dos filmes mais lindos que já vi. É perfeito, delicado, suave, profundo, envolvente e devastador. Impossível uma pessoa que já amou outra não sentir, mesmo que por um pouco, o que Elio sentia. A sensação de ter crescendo dentro de si um sentimento que você não esperava, a fogueira que queima no peito enquanto você vê a pessoa e não tem certeza se ela sente algo, o ciúme sufocando, a delícia do desenvolvimento e o sentimento começando a ser correspondido... É maravilhoso! Então, o adeus. E a sensação de que ficou um buraco na sua vida e que nada mais vai ser como antes.. O diálogo entre Elio e o pai, logo após a partida de Oliver é uma das coisas mais sublimes, é lição pra vida.

Amanda...concordo inteiramente com vc. O diálogo entre pai e filho é uma lição de vida pra muita gente. Filme de uma sensibilidade ímpar. Assisti o filme várias vezes e em todas as vezes me emociono.

I just watched this movie today and the way it ended broke me. Even reading WEBTOON couldn’t help😢. It was an amazing movie though and I would definitely watch it again.

Ho visto il film solo ieri sera , ebbene FANTASTICO , complimenti a Guadagnino per il coraggio di affrontare con tanta lungimiranza l'argomento , senza mai cadere nel banale e nel volgare , il momento che ritengo bellissimo : Il dialogo finale fra padre e figlio , E' SEMPLICEMENTE FANTASTICO , ce ne vorrebbero di padri che affrontano i loro figli con la stessa pacatezza e sincerità , con una argomentazione con non fa una grinza , solo questo ripaga il figlio per avere una persona al suo fianco SEMPRE . This song hits very special when you lie down on the balcony, watching the grey sky right before a long moonsoon rain. monsoon skies remind me so much of elio and it hurts idk why. it's such a magical thing that only happens with this song and monsoon rains.

That is so wonderful :) I love lana del rey and CMBYN (just made a video about them lol). I had a very similar experience to this movie over the span of a summer. Two years later and we are back together. Best thing that's ever happened to me, even though the heartbreak was the worst pain ever.

Enfin je trouve une personne française ! Votre histoire a l’air tellement touchante, je suis désolé pour vous ! Et effectivement ce films m’a appris beaucoup de chose et il est incroyable, un amour impossible qui pouvais peut-être a voir une fin heureuse. Mais malheureusement c’est la réalité de leur époque, et au final je suis plutôt contente qu’ils est fait cette fin, même si sa m’a fait pleurer toute mes larmes :)
