I like this song. She's assertive. She's not offering help; she's offering a partnership, which is a relationship that goes both ways. She's found from her experiences with him that they happen to fit with one another, and though neither are perfect, she sees an opportunity for a future together with this man that benefits both parties. She's being upfront about that fact while making him that offer of a partnership, all spurred by chance from some sort of miscommunication ("you took my sadness out of context"). That's really beautiful. I love honesty and bluntness. Wish more love songs were like this.

A friend of mine, who loves Lana as much as we do, have lost her Dad today and I feel terribly helpless. As we all know ourselves, we Lana's followers aren't very much like others. We all feel deep shit and understand things not everyone do and my friend aswell is like any of us. Just that most of the time she's sad for no reason and now that she lost her dad idk what must be going through her but ALL I WANT FROM YALL BABIES IS TO PRAY FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE LOST THEIR LOVED ONES. More specifically for people who have lost their loved ones to DEATH.

Axel Vasquez she is a very smart and talented person she is clearly given an amazing talented by Jesus and that’s what makes her a very talented woman plus she grew up listening to a lot of of music and that helped and inspired her career Lana isn’t like these other celebs she makes music cause she loves it and she wants to help others with it and her motivation isn’t to win awards or to have some label slapped on her by a company

She took philosophy when she was in uni if I remember correctly so she usually has a lot of philosophical refrences in her writing which makes her an amazing writer. She’s not only talented like the other artists of this generation, she’s very well educated which has put her on a completely other level than all the artists that are present right now.

Hauntingly Beautiful. The meaning of this song is based upon when Lana and boyfriend at the time we were walking and stopped in front of her bf`s friends apt complex.He put his hand on her shoulder and told her that he thought they were together because they were both "F*cked up".She told him that she didnt think she was F*cked up and that her life was actually good. Which is the words "I aint no candle in the wind" Her words kind of upset him. "Your lost at sea, ill command your boat to me again" means that she is there for him. " Im your man" means what it means. Ill be your support, got your back etc. Genius lyrics if you ask me. "Take a breath baby let me in" Is about breaking down your walls and allowing yourself to be loved. Letting go of your past which is keeping you from loving and being loved. If you cannot love yourself, you will never be capable of loving another. I truly hope that anyone reading this or listening, finds their way and opens their heart so they can begin to live the life they are supposed to live.Which is one of unconditional love. Then and only then will your eyes and heart open to the world you are meant to see. One of love.

lana said it was her dream back then to be a writer but that didnt happen and it saddens her..but tbh listening to her songs is like reading a book. deep and poetic. beautifully written piece. 💕

Totally deserved album of the year. The Grammys are garbage nowadays.

The first song I ever heard from lana was in 2018/2019, “This is what makes us girls”. I instantly fell in love and i’m still to this day in love with every piece of art she puts out. Lana is one of those artists who can never make a bad song, ever.

Just like how light houses are beacons for the lost, the same can be said about beautiful music like this
