Not every singer can or needs to sing high notes, there’s singers that are talented and they don’t sing high notes. In my humble opinion, "Ocean Blvd" is light and visibility, the "Tunnel" is shadow and darkness. The desire of any human being is to be light, to be loved and to never remain in darkness (tunnel). This entire album lives around this duality. In summary: the title theme of this LP is a metaphor.
