mountain, molehill. We live in a world where anything you say can be misconstrued. Anybody with some common sense can see what you're doing is not disrespectful or ignorant of culture. You're a foreign guy in a foreign country genuinely trying to portray your experiences in an honest and respectful way.

I would think most of Thailand is extremely happy with your videos! You are always so respectful and are bringing much needed attention to the places that are not usually considered 'tourist destinations'. I know, personally, you have made me want to go and see all of these places.

Actually surprised to see this video, Paddy. I'm usually not a fan of foreign KZreadrs but you're an exception. Of all foreign KZreadrs you're the most respectful and least obnoxious. You always capture the beauty of Thailand without the "stereotypes". Keep going, excited to see more of your content.

As far as I'm concerned, the videos you make make me want to visit Thailand again and see places I would never have thought of going to. You promote Thailand better than any other KZreadr! This reminds me of the case and litigation that resulted from harsh hotel review in Phuket. We all understood the humor of the comment, but if a law exists the owners can report you, that is a underlying issue that still exists with it's fuzziness. That aside, TAT should be grateful you're the only chap in Thailand highlighting and bringing to our attention the value of generally unknown places in Thailand. You've encouraged me to even visit one of these places Lonely Plant doesn't have a clue. .... Keep up great job !

Interesting story about the German engineer. Just found this paragraph from the German Embassy in Bangkok. "Emil Eisenhofer was a German engineer, born in 1879 in Munich. In 1903 he went to Thailand, where he led the construction of the tunnel through the Khun Tan Mountains on the railway line between Bangkok-Chiang Mai. Before its completion, Thailand joined the Allies in World War I in 1917. Eisenhofer was arrested and interned in British India. After the end of the war, he went back to Germany and later worked in Turkey. When the Thai Railway awarded him compensation for his dismissal, Eisenhofer and his wife Irmgard returned to Thailand in 1929. He lived in Bangkok, where he died in 1962. The Thai Railway established, for his merit, a tomb at the northern exit of the Khun Tan Tunnel - the longest railway tunnel in Thailand".
