Killer Joe he’s a former world champ, not everyone gets to be world champion some even risk their lives just to be on the contender rankings. You can’t discredit that achievement. Actually he had the fight winning but old age caught him, if his legs were in shape and stayed mobile then it should have been a wrap.

The way he went out was tough but it would be a lot tougher to see him go out on a stretcher or worse, to see him brain damaged like other fighters. Gabe Rosado is another guy that sooner or later will have to call it quits with all the damage that he has taken. The way Peterson sounded at the end just sounded like somebody who is tired of the lifestyle that comes with boxing. Waking up early, working hard, staying disciplined and then going into that ring and taking damage that comes with the sport obviously is both a mental and physical toll on a fighter. Some can endure longer while others can't. Everybody is built different. Good win for Lipinets and respect to both fighters. Life is difficult in so many ways. Heartbreaking 💔

Great warrior but too many wars have taken its toll. His style meant he dished out a lot and also took a lot and one day the birds will come out to roost. When people slag guys like Lennox and Mayweather off for fighting end elusive style, I smile and think that they were able to fight almost into their 40s at a very high championship level because they minimized accumulated punishment. Warrior types like Peterson have a shorter expectancy.

@@thulsadoom3658 the commentators said it all. It wasn't Mikey wasn't trying it was Mikey trying but not being able to reach him for 9 rounds. Spence utilized his jab and in case u didn't know Spence 4 inch height and reach advantage. When Spence finally came forward in the late rounds Mikey had already been hit so many times by the jab, but still was able to hit Spence more than before because he was close enough now. Though I'm sure he was tired of dealing with the jab already so it showed. Size mattered in the fight. As for lomaxhenko, Mikey did meet with Loma once and agreed it would be a good fight. But for the moment they had different plans. Plus lomachenko saying he would like to fight Mikey when Mikey always had a set fight. Anyways ppl always say they wanna fite this or that guy yet how many times does it ever happen? He can take gervonta for the time being. Mikey's busy.
