Stopped buying Premium Hot Wheels too, MiniGT is awesome and in the same price range,,also like Schuco Edition 64, most ERA Car and BM Creation. I like to collect Greenlight and Auto World too. 🙂

Same, my Hot Wheels premium purchasing stopped last year because of MiniGT. Far more superior detail, and very progressive ideas. HW is stagnant.

Same here. In my country you can't see Hot Wheels hanged in the shelves because of scalpers, and for me it was either spend double for one car, or buy the whole series, which is what I ended up doing because I wouldn't be supporting the scalpers in any way. MINI GTs were a bit more expensive than HW Premium, but the proportions, the details, the quality, everything was far superior, so I stopped buying Hot Wheels. More expensive, yes. Worth it? Absolutely! I have over 80 now, and my collection keeps growing every week.

No wonder Mini GT is getting up there, if not already, as one of the best 64 brand - the head honcho is a passionate car guy and a visionary

this guy is clearly passionate abt model car collection n 1/64s. he understands very well what his audience wants n works hard to deliver cheap yet very realistic 1/64 model cars

Mini GT is by far the best brand of diecast I’ve ever collected. Hopefully we get some muscle cars, Ferraris, Koenigseggs, and all kinds of other cars. Keep up the good work.

Awesome interview. This content is top notch. Great insight on the backstory of MiniGT. Love MiniGT castings. Hoping to see MiniGT more easily available to the public in future.

MINI GT is coming very strong, I see more and more people getting into this brand, some buy just a few, and others migrated their collection to this and other similar premium brands. They have potential, and they have a future, and I'm glad I'm part of the beginning of their history.

Love this guy’s enthusiasm. I also love that he mention Formula 1. Great interview by the way. I also want to say that I’m with the few that wrote that their no longer collecting certain brands in favor of Mini GT. Keep them coming Mini GT !

I love to hear that the look comes first in Mini GT's design philosophy, not the functionality. Since I'm not driving any of the 1:64 die-cast cars, so I want them to satisfy my view first before knowing whether their doors/hoods can open or not.

Great job lamely,I have the mini gt supra,love it. Definitely gonna look to add a R34 when I see the variations.

I'm looking forward to the retro line of Mini GT. Not a big fan of exotic car castings but I believe Mini GT will do great on those retro castings.

Thats very cool 🤘🏻💀🤘🏻 The model that needs to be made by MiniGt is a 1985-86 Dodge Daytona turbo Z in the same exact colors from the movie called "The Wraith" that came out in 1986. I think they could do a fantastic job 👍🏻

Im a tomica collector, but i will start collecting Mini GT now, great detailing and good prices, but im concern for every diecast maker, please minimize the factory defect for car, like some of my tomica have a defect or paint bubble even though the car is a brand new in sealed box , it is kind of a dissapoinment to have to worry everytime we open the sealed box and have that kind of worry of your diecast having a factory defect or paint bubble or paint rash, hopefully all diecast brand maker can improve their quality control 👍

I love MiniGT the quality & price is just right even cheaper than other brands.

They have tried to make Ferrari models for months. But Ferrari license is one of the hardest to get. It's not a question of "Can they do it", but "Are they allowed to do it".

@@lamleygroup Please ask him why they use Waterslide Decals. Tarmac is much more expensive than MiniGT and they do full printing.

No wonder more people are abandoning hotwheels premium. At the same time Minigt must seriously improve QA . My first three eager purchases from Minigt all have one defect or the other - jammed wheels, contaminated paint, glue marks, paint stains and distorted headlights. Remember we pay around $15 for these, so it's a serious concern

I think the main reason why people abandoning Hot Wheels Premium is because Mini GT offer better bang for the buck. At some places/countries, HW Premium sells for 9 USD at retail. At the same time, they could get a Mini GT by adding a couple of bucks more & ended up with superior details

With Glenn's passionate approach its no wonder MINI GT is so unbelievably amazing! I got into them by accident when I was sent a wrong car by an online shop, and now I am so glad that mistake was made. Its my favourite brand entirely!

Mini is just awesome... One of my favrt brand but Mini GT have to come up with more models, they have to add more car brands like Mercedes, Maserati, Tesla, Aston, Jeep etcs and have to make more models in exciting line like Audi,LR, BMW,Lambo...

mini GT got me into 1/64

Nope not gonna happen. Collectors got pissed when they were gonna raise the price of mains over $1. So to keep them happy they reduced part count and more plastic. Most America collectors will go for the cheaper premium before an $18 one. Mini gt is great but you can buy 3 HW premium,Aw, etc for the price of 1 mini gt.

@@Anth230 I have plenty of Johnny lightning and autoworld and greenlight as well as m2 machines. Love them! But I am really into the other brands. The brands that are NOT MAINSTREAM. Such as mini gt, inno 64, tarmac works and ERA car...I can go on and on. Try some of these brands. You won't be disappointed. Start with mini gt.
