Beatiful series, takes you back in time ... I was at Target today, there were only 2 cars left from this series, the Land Cruiser and the Starlet, my 62 years old high blood pressure heart start racing like a kid, and this 2 teenage girls approached me beginning for the Starlet, stating that it was their dad's first car and that he still talk (dream) about it ... so to me it was soo cool that girls are into HotWheels and that they want to make some one happy this Christmas, so I gave it up 😥

YOU FOOL! I've been looking for Starlet for months 😩 they sold it online .

I'm stoked that Hot Wheels has the Toyota license again and that they've given us an entire release dedicated to them. I know it's highly unlikely, but I would love to one day see a second gen Tercel, mostly because my first car was an 83 Tercel. lol Until then, I'll have to go with the Starlet.

Found these at target the other day and at first grabbed the supras and the 87 pickup but seeing as how the other castings are nice as well I ended up getting the whole set

The '87 Toyota Pickup casting actually originated in Hot Ones 2012 in red and I really like that version despite the limited decos since it's a big huge hunk of metal. I really, really wish that I had picked up both the Back to the Future version and the Cool Classics version when they were still at retail. I hope Mattel would consider re-releasing it in Entertainment for Back to the Future again. I'll definitely pick up this version even though I haven't seen the set at Canadian Walmarts or Toys R' Us'es yet. The Toyota 2000 GT is the other one in this set that I really want since I love the casting and, Hot Wheels premium-wise, I have the Japan Historics version and, if it counts, the modified convertible version from You Only Live Twice from Retro Entertainment. Still gotta get that Super Treasure Hunt from 2013 which I think was one of the last full-metal Supers. (When was that Ford Ranchero Super that was also full-metal? I think they were both released within a few months of one another.) I like the Starlet but I think I would like it more had they done it with a stock ride height instead of as yet another lowrider.

Finally got this set. Obviously couldn't find it in stores, but got a whole set online for a decent price. It was only lost in the mail for a week. The one I really wanted was the Land Cruiser, but the Supra in white looks very nice. I haven't liked any of the other Supra castings.

I'm not too fond of the chrome five spokes on the Supra, but that would be nitpicking. This is honestly a great set all round. I hope they keep doing the JDM brand theme as a series. How about a Nissan set next? The Starlet would be my favourite here, but the Landcruiser's certainly a close second.

I give the favorite nod to the FJ60 since it is new. 2nd place is the pickup. I wish Hot Wheels (or Matchbox for that matter0 would do the first gen/Hilux (79-83 in US) pickup.

87 pu then the landcruiser... I'm a bit of a Toyota guy... had a 91 SR5 EXTENDED CAB,, 89 SR5 4RUNNER W/SAS, 94 SR5 4RUNNER, 98 CORROLA, 94 COROLLA,, & currently have a 99 SR5 4RUNNER HIGHLANDER SP EDITION & 05 SR5 TACOMA ACCESS CAB W/2021TRD suspension.

Toyota cars rule, I have my Starlet KP61 brought it from yesterday.

FJ60 for the win. I used to drive an '86, so my opinion is biased. Awesome to drive slow and low. Honestly, the '80s FJ60 were notorious dogs with their straight 6 motors.
