Bought these the moment they were available in my country. Best Majorette set of the year for sure, in a year that saw them release a number of must have models (Kia Stinger, Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3, AMG GTR, to name just a few). If they keep it up in 2021, and i am sure they will, it is going to be a hell of a year for us collectors.

Gonna take my first majorette now, thanks.

I was strolling through the toy section of a local department store with my boy about 5 years ago. I spotted a beautiful Hot Wheels GT3 on the pegs. I had a flashback to when I was a kid and remembered my Super Chrome 911. In the cart the GT3 went. Now I think I have about =80 Hot Wheels Porsche castings. These are pretty darn good. I think I may be hitting up some Euro-connections now!

That black 992 is fantastic. The red stripes are OEM, making it even cooler. I keep dreaming about a 992 and every time I configure one on Porsche's website I end up with that black/red combo. Regarding Majorette's US distribution, Simba-Dickie, owners of Majorette and many other major brands (Tamiya, Schuco, etc), bought Jada Toys last year. It's possible that one reason for the purchase was to introduce or expand their current brands to the American market. The Majorette models I've seen at Hobby Lobby are just rebranded Jada models, usually 1/64 VW's for some reason, but it's a good start and a good sign that introducing Majorette to the US is part of their plan.

I totally agree . Majorette is certainly stepping up its game ... it’s gradually getting away from the “ Toyish “ look , and moving into a displayable collectible.... also , with the New Year approaching, can all you Diecast Leaders , make an effort to get away from the term 1/64 Scale ( which you used in this video ) and instead , simply use the term Small -Scale Diecast ... it is a more encompassing, and accurate way to describe All the Diecast models , smaller than 1/43 scale .... those beautiful Majorette Porsche models are actually 1/57 scale ... just a thought ... In Europe we used the term '3inch', Majorette allways were bigger than 1:64, like Siku and all other european Brands, Matchbox only was smaller in their early years.

@@marcbaur677 all nice brands do in 1/64 and the stupid Majorette do 1/55 1/52 1/60 !!! this is not a cars to collect this is a stupid scale . i heat that Majorette brand . in the other side Norev now do a real 1/64 and nicely detailed .

@@xspeeder09 than buy your nice brands. Majorette is not for collectors, they are Toycars for kids. And why should we change our favorite scales for some non-european collectors? If you want european 1:64 scale, buy Schuco Edition 64. Edit: not all 3inch Norev's are scale 1:64!

@@xspeeder09 so what? Maybe there's a reason that they did it in the past forca fewe Modells and not today anymore. And Schuco had a big range of 1:66 Toycars in the past. Should they switch back from 1:64 to 1:66 cause they did it in the past? Majorette said in Instagram that their scale is between 1:60 - 1:55 and they dont wantvto change it. And is Hotwheels absolutly and allways scale 1:64 or Matchbox? So if you want only true 1:64, than buy these brands who are true 1:64 and dont buy the other brands, its your choice. Are you one of these people who think "I only want scale 1:64, so all Brands have to make only 1:64 Toycars, no matter what other People want. What i want is the law."

The 911 Carrera S is my favourite mainline casting from any manufacturer this year. Really satisfied I managed to find the complete set and I'm looking forward to new recolour variations next year. Cheers

Bring back majorette to the US market

Liked these Porsches from the first time I saw em but I do think the headlights are too large. Oh and watch the tail lights when you buy these, on mine they are painted to high.

Schuco has the best lights of any car I've purchased, especially the spyder.

Majorette has some pretty cool stuff out there, im glad were starting to see them here! (REALLY wanna find that WRC set!) Biggest complaints for Majorette are Wheels - seems they got the memo and are working on it lol Durability - the few i have chip paint pretty easily, and sometimes the decals/tampos have an obvoius and undesired dot-matrix look. But hey, theyre not +$20 models either.

I am really liking what Majorette are doing with their premium and racing cars. The newly released Nissan Cefiro A31 is absolutely brilliant. I have bought all 7 colour / wheel variations so far. I am looking forward to more fantastic castings from Majorette in 2021 =)

Confirmed. I got the blue one with the surf board at hobby lobby. And I love it. I'm bummed it was the only version they had.

What is the mrsp on these cars?

If you remove the black roof rack are there open holes in the roof. These look awesome. What was mrsp?

One thing i like about majorette its cheap in the philippines even the premium i like those opening doors hood...dont have much to modify u just replace the wheels with deep dish rider wheels or stance your done

castings are nice and realistic, Scale is not accurate, like most brands. overall quality is ok Paint sucks, chips super easily. They are nice and cheap though

I bought the one with the skis.

A deluxe plus line with prototypical wheels and painted interior detail would be amazing, yes they might be a bit closer to mini gt pricing by then but I think people would accept them when they have opening parts and suspension.

Why aren’t you doing any majorette videos anymore? It‘s been a year. I love hot wheels and I do collect majorettes too and matchbox.. but why are there so few majorette people out there?

Those Majorette are great but here in Florida are basically in existent.

They must have someone that is really good at making the models because their cars are very accurate to the real cars, my only problem with them is they are not 1/64, the paint chips easy, and the wheels. I do love the spring suspension and plastic headlights.

The porsche toyfair u have is a hardtofind variant .

I really, really don't get all the criticism about the wheels. Nit-picking... For context, HW in France costs usually 2€ to 3€; Majorette with plenty more detail goes from 2€ to 3€ (basics), and from to 3€ to 5€ for all the various racing and premium versions (like the awesome Vaillant 934).

i had to order a 991 carrera because its so good looking. didnt get the basic one but its still good looking

Please tell thems to do all cars in real 1/64 !!!! PLEASE !

Majorette cars have always been larger like with other european brands like Siku or Norev. Around 1/55 is the tradition there

Those are nice.....really nice indeed. But, my winning casting choice are done by MINI GT . No opening parts on MINI GT, but the details are OFF THE CHAINS......so MINI GT for me.

Majorette is better than Matchbox

We don't get much h here in England, but I was lucky enough to find the majorette deluxe nissan cefiro, it was a must have for me, was great to see, and even better for one fo my favorite brands form being a child to a teen, its amazing to see what majorette is doing for them seleves!

Also every time you open a blister is like ripping a piece of my heart, 😂, even I know packages for you are just nuisance.

The Hot Wheels 934 5 in the Black Box 100% sets are way better.

I have to agree with you about the wheels. They look really cheesy.

Sometimes your enthusiasm is so heavy handed that it just screams manufactured. I would guess you'll be listing these for sale from your collection in about twelve months.

Not a fan of opening parts on a 1/64 scale level. It ruins the proportions and realism of the car with huge gaps and hinges

Yes, same Problem with Siku, not very nice tyres, but Hotwheels also had sometimes ugly ones and Greenlight or M2 mostly have some quality issues whitth their tyres. So, every Brand is not perfect. 😁

Those models are not good. Main problem is hughe oversized, second, bad looking wheels. Main problem is with tampo on door, this one middle front and second doors. Always painted on roof too. Check toyota from majorette. If somoeone want majorette, avoid main line! Only premium cars worth price.

I'm sorry, but I just don't like Majorette. Every time I've seen them in person and held them, they just feel like a toy and kind of junky... and they are larger than most 1/64 cars. They just don't look right to me. And those Porsche headlights look horrible.

The wheels are fine. You people always over analyze everything! The way Majorette does their wheels identifies their brand and makes it unique to their brand. Get a life.

Hot Wheels wheels mostly suck worse than Majorette.
