Because the stakes are higher. Allow me to clarify. In FNF and most mods, you play as just normal Boyfriend, an arrogant and fearless hero. Here, that hero has been twisted by Corruption and his only directive is to essentially kill the other characters and leave twisted, tormented mockeries of themselves in place of what used to be. He's basically sentencing them to Hell.

This song just shows how broken daddy dearest is, he lost his wife, his daughter and is fighting the boy who his daughter trusted,(and yes i know the bf didnt willingly turn evil but its still the fact hes evil now) its really sad. Besides that i love the tone this song gave off, it really is probably my favorite song that has come out of this mod

Everyone is saying Daddy Dearest is the Sans of the corruption mod, but acutally he's more like Flowey if he fought against you at the very end of the Genocide Route, considering the fact that Daddy Dearest was almost always harassing you or hiring someone to kill you in the regular game, threatening the Boyfriend in Week 1, hiring Pico to kill Boyfriend in Week 3, teaming up with his wife to once again harass Boyfriend in Week 5, and pushing you inside the game in Week 6, fully knowing that there is a deranged spirit in there. So in reality, he's more like a lesser evil forced to be good for the sake of the entire world.

To be real, this has to be one of the best songs to come out of the fnf community As others have said, you can genuinely feel the dad's unbridled rage overshadow his grief and sadness, making the song suit it's name perfectly It's probably the best set up for a final boss in fnf, especially in this kind of scenario where everyone you know and love has fallen to this disease of some kind Definitely my favorite song out of all mods tbh, damn good job

Daddy Dearest right now. Even being depressed and more susceptible to the Corruption, Is putting up more of a fight then anyone "Even Spirit" was able too. If there's anyone who can end the Corruption it's him. "This is the ONLY song where Evil Boyfriend has gotten anything other then a Sick! so that's saying a lot actually" The Corruption isn't stupid though. It saved him for last so it could be at it's strongest so it wouldn't lose. So it's anyone's game right now. Sure hope Daddy Dearest wins though.

His anger can help defeat the corruption... only if he keeps this up...

As i said in my other comment on the main video for their fight. There's 1 instance where Evil Boyfriend loses hp in the fight meaning Boyfriend might still be somewhere in there. Also this is the only time since Evil Boyfriend got his code fixed to basically be a Bot that always gets Sicks! That he's gotten a Good, Meaning that Daddy Dearest may actually be too much for the corruption. At least if it wasn't so evolved after killing off Senpai and Spirit. It most likely targeted Daddy Dearest last cause it knew that he was the only one who could actually defeat/kill it so it strengthened itself in preparation for their fight against one another. It's just a added bonus that Daddy Dearest also is going through a lot with the guilt of knowing all he loves is "Basically" all gone caused by his negligence to be by his family's side when they needed him most. Making him more susceptible to the corruption. All in all PhantomFear did an amazing job with the story of this Mod overall. And it could go either way from what i've seen in the video. Dad has a chance, He really does. He just needs to remember what he's fighting for "Cliche i know, but it's what would be the deciding factor" Also NO Tankman is NOT canon to this Mod. People are so weird when it comes to this AU i swear, They have no tact i swear. This Mod ends with Daddy Dearest or he saves the day and then PhantomFear might do a follow up of "Un-corrupting" everyone. I really hope he does do that though. Cause honestly man? This AU is a cancer to the community of FnF if the corruption wins in the story then people will just keep trying to implement it in to other Mods, and even in to other canon Weeks in the future. An endless cycle of edgy corruptions that have little to no "Soul" in them. PhantomFear is the only one that's made a Corruption based song/Mod that wasn't cringey, and honestly, Just distasteful. He did an amazing job for sure. But let's just hope he ends the Mod so people can stop trying to be the next "Him" and do all those trashy versions of the AU.

he realised what he done.He realise that if he give boyfriend a change to date with his daughter, there was no week 5 and this incident. He knows that it's his fault, even when he so sad and broken inside realizing that he alone among corrupted friends and family(tankman isn't not during the battle daddy dearest and corrupted bf), he trying to correct his worst mistake.

Jeez, i seriously love this, when i thought that schyzofrenzy was the greatest song of the mod, i was damn wrong, this is seriously amazing.
