And that's two people with money smarts, so it really took ten years if you're one person and a VERY above average saver/investor. Have some gratitude for how lucky you are with parents like that. I'm self made, my parents were never able to give me anything aside from the essentials. Btw tell your parents to invest half that in physical silver and gold, thank me later, this is not financial advice. The dollars going bye bye

This is honestly the best compare/contrast of the an LP and non LP Lamborghini I could find!!! I really didnt know what people meant when they said LP or non LP lol. Appreciate the information dropped here you're the best!!

When the gen 2 Gallardo first came out, I thought it looked a lot better than the gen 1. Now, in 2016, I prefer the gen 1s looks. The rear is lots beefier and goes well with the way a gallardo handles :-P. Also, don't change your car how it is now. Maybe an exhaust system, but dont get black wheels or a wrap! It looks great.

I’ve had experience with the e-gear transmission and the last thing you want to do is put it in automatic mode it eats the clutch up and it’s not cheap to fix

Stradman, you've got to be proud of you Lambo, it's one of the best I've seen with the manual transmission

e gear seem like a blast to drive. the rev matching is amazing (my M3 does it and its phenominal sounding) but I think I would have to go with the 6sp. all the issues the e gears have scares me a bit and the click of the gated shifter is bone chilling to me for some reason. plus when I dreamed of Diablo in the early 90s there was no e gear. just raw driver oriented gated manual. I don't think I could have it any other way.

I have never ever wanted to get a Lamborghini in my life before until I saw your videos . You made me fall in love with these cars ,I guess I'll get one some day :)

Admittedly, I much prefer your gallardo. Although I normally prefer the LP 550, with its revised front fascia and enhanced rear end, there's something about a first generation gallardo in orange and with a manual transmission, no less, that makes it hard to beat. Plus, the condition of your '06 gallardo is damn near flawless, with most other gallardo from that generation looking tired and worn out.

I don't think it is subtle difference between 1st and 2nd! I mean the LPs are aesthetically better looking and more refined! the lights, grille, bumpers front and back are totally different not only the transmission.

My good buddy had a lp550-2 bicolore. Hands down probably the best gallardo ever made.

+granskare Well in terms of performance yes. But audi keeps slowly making the cars more luxury in a sense. Lambos don't have that super raw feel as much nowadays.

I had a 2006 Gallardo SE in Arancio Borealis and traded it for a 2011 LP560 also in Arancio Borealis. I miss the rawness and the F1 shreak of the '06 but the LP560 is worlds better. Feels so much faster (even though it only has 40 more hp), the suspension is set up better and is less fatiguing to drive. It's just all around a much better car.

All these comments saying to wrap your gallardo.. it's your car so you can do what you want to do but I couldn't leave this video without urging you not to wrap it. that color is sexy as hell and you will ruin the look of it if you do a wrap. VV looks nice but I personally don't care for the blue he chose. yellow and orange are made for these cars. they are extravagant so they should stand out. not some boring black or light blue. all I would do in your position: Black wheels, LP front end and superleggera wing. maybe wrap the roof in black.

The black looks better , if you ever decide to rap your's you should really consider going black , the vinyl rap is self healing so all of those common reasons to not go black are non points with vinyl . Unless you really like driving an orange car , if so just keep driving the scittle .

Only thing better on the LP is the look and interior
