Its bc he was proactive 10 years ago or so and sought out a vocal coach, melissa cross, to teach him how to scream properly with as little damage as possible. There use to be a dvd she put out that featured him in it years ago, not sure if there is anything new out there from her. It was called zen and the art of screaming iirc. However the lifestyle changes im sure helped alot too. Watching randy from the old dvds when him and mark had a "fight" if you could call it that lol, he certainly has went a positive direction.
@TheAndrewforbes88

It's because he understands the mechanics of screaming. Lots of vocalists don't actually know what they're doing so they blow out their voices. Randy knows what he's doing. Certainly one of the greatest metal vocalists of all time.

Man, Lamb of god is sounding as heavy and tight as ever. And Art definitely did his homework and nailed every song, he really is doing a brilliant job in respecting the drum parts and is tight as f, You can HEAR and tell he has been a big of the band himself and that Chris has influenced his drumming , Lamb of god won't ever be the same without Chris but they are not sounding bad at all. Is just about turning the page and beginning a new chapter.

Cmon. Art Cruz nailing it note for note. He worked hard for it. Have you seen the "Ruin" track of this live? Check it. Yeah Chris is God tier, so as Art. He even applies the sound of old LOG in their new songs.

Graham Doyle No, there is no one like Chris , and the new album shows that. Not saying I don’t like the album, I actually think it’s pretty okay actually. But no one can add filler or double kick like Chris , easily by far one of the greatest drummers I’ve heard

so happy again and again that art is the drummer. his heel-toe fits perfect like chris always did.

I don't give a damn what people say. You will NEVER beat the energy in a small, indoor venue like this. I've seen shows crammed into tiny spaces with 100 people and been to sold out stadiums. Give me that tool shed converted to a stage any day.

Totally man. I have scientific evidence of this example with a night w Slayer at OZZFEST mosh on the hill type shit and then the very next night in a place with 999 people. So rad
Every singel cell in my body is screaming after a metal concert. Mosh pit, circle pit, crowd surfing, stage diving, head banging. Etc etc etc etc......
Literally one of theeee best songs ever created.
This song has always been a powerful song to me. Together we can all get through this hell of a life. Stay strong everyone, be kind!!!

These guys still kill it after like 20 years of doing this shit. Mad respect.
Sad to see Chris go but I'm so happy it was Art to replace him. Solid drummer man. No wonder Chris recommended him.
This is how lamb of god really sounds
My dad died back in 05. We liked the broad face o the Lamb.
I have always liked that even live Randy can still match almost every growl that he does in the studio versions

Randy 's voice is lovely insane ! fuckng awesome band !
Lamb of god could be church music for church sense it has god in it
this is the America that I love, greets from Iran \m/ hopefully can someday go to Sacramento and meet them Live., when the ayatollahz are dead.
Hearing LOG in a small venue… might be a next level in terms of metal show. WOW🤘🏻
Lamb of God is back with tight drums!👌
I’ve watched this video a thousand times. Probably my favorite single performance of all time tbh😵
Been listening to theses dudes since gospel. Art does a killer job. Anyone who says he doesnt is willfully ignorant. Chris is and always wil be a true beast. Aint nothing wrong with giving credit were its due. Not to mention everyone involved handled the entire shitty situation with humility and class. There is alot to be learned from the way these cats roll. Welcome art. Great job.
I saw these guys back in 2009 in Scotland along with Five finger death punch...What a fucking gig it was

Lyrics Pray for blood Pray for the cleansing Pray for the flood Pray for the end of this nightmare This lie of a life can as quickly as it came dissolve We seek only reprieve And welcome the darkness The myth of a meaning so lost and forgotten (Forgotten) Take hold of my hand For you are no longer alone Walk with me in hell Pray for solace Pray for resolve Pray for a savior Pray for deliverance, some kinda purpose A glimpse of a light in this void of existence Now witness the end of an age Hope dies in hands of believers Who seek the truth in the liar's eye Take hold of my hand For you are no longer alone Walk with me in hell Walk with me in hell Walk with me in hell Walk with me in hell Walk with me in hell Walk with me in hell Take hold of my hand For you are no longer alone Walk with me in hell Walk with me in hell Walk with me in hell You're never alone You're never alone You're never alone You're never alone You're never alone Walk with me in hell

Man I want to see LOG live so bad when they come back to Australia, but my back injury makes its so hard for me to get through concert standing and usually seating is more expensive. I can barely stand for 15 minutes without being in excruciating pain. These videos just make want to see them more then the reality of my injury creeps.
