Went to download a while back. Saw lamb of god, slipknot, rammstein and Marilyn Manson all in one weekend. Man what I’d do to be there now

The energy at their concerts are amazing

This song is about American wars in the Middle East. Hence the name of the song. The whole album is pretty much about it (Ashes of the Wake). Lamb of God has some great material. Vigil is a fantastic song. Starts off sounding like an anti-religious song but is actually about the state of America.

one of the greatest war-protest albums ever recorded, even if many don't realize it! even the songs that seem to celebrate violence are very ironic, very tragic, very satirical

I was in that crowd....though not near the pit. I was a bit too stoned to be near all that violence, but I remember how perfectly done the sound was, and how clear each growl and note was. The sound guys did a great job making an awesome band sound exactly how they should be.

Ive seen log several times in concert and sadly this isnt always the case. A few shows at the venues I saw them at had terrible sound.

I'm actually in that giant festival crowd you see with the audio tent buried among the people. It's Download Festival 2006 and it was one of the best sets of the entire weekend. I was only 15 at the time, went to the festival by myself and got my ass completely kicked, loved every second! Lamb Of God are the band I've seen live the most times, as they were massive on the festival circuit in the UK and Europe back in the mid 2000's, was lucky enough to see them 7 times at festivals and once at my local small venue where I live, and met the entire band and had a beer with them. Great times.

I saw them at Download 2010, they kicked some serious daytime ass although there were some weird sound issues especially on Adlers drums. Was still a great show.

Lamb of God rocks!!!! They are groove metal too, bc I know how much you love Pantera. I'll see them open for Megadeth next year- who coincidentally has L.O.G. old drummer now. 11th hours, Black Label, Ruin, Walk with me in Hell, and Blood of the Scribe are all GREAT tunes to check out!!! Rock on!🤘

Thise speakers are guitar cabinets have 4 12 in speakers in ones they actually use. The majority of those are for looks. They may use a couple of them and a backup. I doubt they use all of those.
