I love how Shannon struggled with calculating the percentages. Hey Shannon. Knock off 2 zeroes that gets you 1%. So if you want to figure out 3 percent knock off 2 zeroes then multiply it by 3. So for $156,000,000. Taking off 2 zeroes gets you $1,560,000. Then multiply it by 3. That's $4,680,000. On the fly you could have just gone with $1,500,000 * 3 and say about 4 and a half.

Lamar did everything he was supposed to do in negotiations. They call it the "turn and burn" when you are willing to walk away from a (teams) final offer. Lamar didn't settle as much as he maximized his opportunity. You just got to have thick skin. I really think they overblowing this listening to management criticism directly because i think most companies do a version of this when raise reviews or performance evaluations come up because they don't really want to pay you top dollar.

Ya'll obviously didn't watch the press conference and Ravens interview on the Lounge where he spoke very openly about the situation. 1. He didn't have to "crawl thru the mud for this", that's just want ya'll media want it to be like. He and Ravens kept things in-house so ya'll speculated nonstop. 2. There was no bad blood, he explicitly stated he always wanted to be a Raven and fulfill his draft day promise of bringing a superbowl to Ravens. EDC also echoed this sentiment repeatedly. 3. He talked on how his trade request was simply a business move to get things rolling and he wasn't even really trying to talk to other teams. 4. He often spoke how he separated his feelings while being his own agent and seemed pretty happy at his press conference and spoke highly of Harbaugh and EDC.
