LALA embraced her lack of formality, self proclaimed “ratchet” “hoe” persona and control issues. We all know that’s not all she really is. She’s MUCH deeper. She made James a puppet. For her ego. Raquel is a blaring symbol of what she lacks - Demure personality traits. & genuine (misguided) love for James. In a sense, Raquel is a younger, naive version of LALA. So LALA is like “toughen up”. To each his own. Self love and self forgiveness is the cure for LALA’s internal battles. Humility is cure to the inflated ego. Tough life experience is the cure for Raquel’s incompetency. LALA is experiencing the ringer sooner. LALA is also more equipped to fight. It happens to us all. Ego is an enemy to every character presented on the show. Both are beautiful girls.
