Lalbagh Ka Raja is the most popular public Ganesh Mandal in Mumbai . Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal was established in the year 1934 by the Kolis of Chinchpokli . It is located in the Lalbagh, Parel area of ​​Mumbai.
This Ganesh Mandal attracts lakhs of people during its 10-day celebrations. This famous Ganapati is also known as 'Navasacha Ganapati' (the fulfiller of wishes). Every year there is a long queue of about 5 kilo meters to get darshan. Immersion of Ganesh idol of Lalbagh is done on the tenth day at Girgaum Chowpatty .

Korgaonkar and local residents, owner Rajabali Tayyabali decided to give a plot of land for the construction of the market. The formation of the Mandal took place in the era when the freedom struggle was at its peak. Lokmanya TilakThe "Public Ganeshotsav" was made a medium of discussion for the awakening of the people against the British rule. Along with religious duties, freedom struggle and social issues were also discussed here. During the Ganesh festival in Mumbai, all eyes are on the famous 'Raja of Lalbagh'. He is also known as 'Ganesha of vows'. People come from far and wide to see the idol of Lord Ganesha installed in Lalbagh and these devotees stand in queues for several hours (20 to 25 hours). On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi many famous Bollywood film stars are also included in the devotees who come here with a vow after the installation of the idol of 'Lalbagh Ke Raja' i.e. Lord Ganesha. Film celebrities of Bollywood come here in the morning and worship Lord Ganesha and pray for the fulfillment of their wishes.
