I don't know how to feel about this remix since the original is a really sad and deep song which was dedicated to school children who passed away in Tuvalu back in 2000...

I think to be sad forever is not what anyone who's passed wants from us, though. We sometimes must learn hard lessons from painful moments, but then those moments too must pass and we must celebrate the ones who taught us and made us see. Life is very short and precious. Cherish it, but accept it is a gift, not a burden. I think that is the purpose behind, 16 years later, a little more upbeat version of the song. I can't speak for those girls. I'm not them. But I doubt, in their position, I would bear ill will to someone who danced to music that was a tribute to an accidental death, one that hopefully would change certain things about fire safety in that "small nation" the song speaks of. I guess what I'm trying to say is, feel free to feel, but try not to dwell on the negative. We're all only one step away from the grave.
