Lakeville T-bolt test 01-05-2011

Thunderbolt T1000t, 5/6 port, chopper level 4. Highview Ave. Lakeville Mn. monthly test @13:00. Siren started @ 13:03 while waiting I could hear Apple Valley's Whelen Vortex system test @13:00 as well as Burnsville's 2001s. I was just setting my camera down to leave thinking I had filmed a failed test when the siren roared. Will be recording more of Lakeville's T-bolts in the coming months.

@Thunderboltlover1 Thanks. The video of the other T-bolt in Lakeville is mine I recorded it Nov,5 2010 @ 1300 for a monthly test. It is the siren on Dodd Blvd. just north of downtown. I certainly will try to record the rest of Lakeville's old sirens in the coming months. I won't step on your toes and post a recording of the Cracker Barrel T-bolt. You've done a great job archiving that one.
@bulldozer950 Thanks, It's now on my list of sirens to record, along with 2 more T-bolts. and a very old 2001.
Sounds like chopper level 5 on a three phase 208V delta system. I like this pitch, because it's right in tune with the blower.
@joek0617 That one is actually a T1000 as it is single toned. They fixed it up recently and it looks and sounds great.

there's another at the state fairgrounds, either a 1000t or a 1003
@garyhstorms10 As far as I know there are still 6 Thunderbolts left in Lakeville. I can belive that Mpls. and St. Paul would be repacing their sirens soon as they are very old. I have not personally heard of a plan to do this in Lakeville but I do not live there.
@Thunderboltlover1 I want to go out to the one near the fire station on Flagstaff next. Then I will get the one in the Trailer park off of Pilot Knob.
We have those sirens here in blytheville arkansas and they test them at 12.00pm noon time each monday.As for what kind ours are i no clue?They are for tornadoes is all i know LOL
How many Thunderbolt 1000Ts does Lakeville MN have and have you heard that Minneapolis MN and St Paul MN will be replacing thier Thunderbolt Systems in the next few years i have heard about it will Lakeville MN follow as well and replace its Thunderbolt System as well too

could you try to record the abused 2001 near mystic lake?
@JPa311979 I thought there was one in the Mobile home park off of Pilot Knob in south Lakeville. But, when I drove through there today after recording this I found that it was a Thunderbolt. If there is a 2 or 3t22 I don't know where it is.
