These girls are definitely great for their age !! Some critique would be for blue team to improve on knowing what their seams are along with a low platforms. Points were lost due to lack of communication and moving their feet for both serve receive and defense. Following the ball to the line is also crucial and a great skill to practice !! For the black team, I would say for hitters to work on high contact with a nice snap to create that top spin on the ball along with backing up and trying to get in their approach. At times the hits looked more like a float serve, but these are all things that will improve with height and time. Also, #15 on the black team looks like she would have a great jump top spin serve, her tosses are high and consistent which is impressive.

Ya also that when they serve they lean back to hit the ball while leaning forward when you serve creates more power

@@hellome446 few tips: 1. When receiving a ball, scream “MINE” to indicate that your getting the ball 2. Don’t criticize people unless u ask beforehand if they want to be criticized 3. Give good criticism 4. Talk to your teammates and maybe form a system, for example that u say the setters name when u receive the ball

For serving keeping a fast speed for your arm is great to generate more power when serving and they could also try keeping the ball lower on the net so its not so high. Those extra steps are not really needed but it depends for how you like it. And then for a ball thats on top of the net thet could have jump up and slammed it to the other teams side of the court.

i’m 6th grade to and my first tournament for travel volleyball is tmmw! all i have to say is i started in 4th grade and it’s gonna be scary so all i have to say is PRACTICE!! especially setting! setting and serving are my best because i practiced most on that!

My vb season ended early from covid, it was my first year. Tryouts are again in April! I love watching these games, always gives me a confidence boost, idk why😂

I play 7th grade volleyball going into 8th, my volleyball is much more advanced than this ( i play the setter position ) but i think the blue team needs to work on not being so lazy it felt like they just gave up on the ball.

Great game by both schools I see a lot of potential .

even thought they lost, i can see a lot of potential, they had a lot of good plays.

I am glad of a newer game I can watch. Volleyball starts in the beginning of the year and all the volleyball girls start practicing in January-February. We are going to end up on the top.

I’m about to go to 7th and I really wanna be in volleyball so thx!

I'm at 5th grade almost 6th and I joined the volleyball girl I watched this to help me being strong and enough to be grate at the game

These girls are great! Both teams! One suggestion i would make (and i’m sure that by now they do this) is Triton trying to call for the ball. I’m watching this video with no sound so i’m not sure if they’re calling or not but if they aren’t they should! Besides that both teams are AMAZING!

I don’t know why I love watching girl my exact same age! Our team I would say is comparable to the black team with the sense of we make mistakes but we don’t let them get to us! Now because of moving on after mistakes and just going with the flow caused us to win our leage!

I love watching people volleyball it’s my biggest hobbie

I think the only thing I wish I saw more of is hitting because I think the game would of been more exiting but other than that I liked the game.🏐

im in 7th grade and they r definitely not bad but could use a lot of improvement (keep in mind i play travel which is a lot more advanced). the black teams hitters should work on their approach and jumping when they swing bc rn they r just hitting the ball like a serve. the blue team needs to work on ball control and communication

Both teams did great! It’s almost not a fair match up but the win was not taken without a fight!

so i’m in 8th grade and i’ve played vball for 3 yrs i agree with what many ppl said they are great for there age blue team may need to work on aim and when and where to get the ball.

I’m in 7th grade modified volleyball this year and have a game in a week, let’s hope I have enough time to learn this all 😭

I am an eighth right now and have been playing volleyball since fourth grade and I hope to make the varsity team next year as a freshman in high school and my team is really good and I’ve always been on the B team but I think I can do it, but these girls are also pretty good too. I can’t believe they are freshman this year. Wow.

I’m in sixth grade but made the seventh grade team, and I see a lot of potential for both teams. Although I do think the blue team was lacking communication, accuracy, and urgency toward the ball. It felt as though they would just hit it over blindly without thinking. I also saw a few plays where there could have been 3 hits instead of a free ball. But besides that, I see a lot of potential and plus those mistakes will be fixed with time.

I'm going int 7th grade I hope I can do volleyball I really enjoy the sport I would of done this instead of basketball if I had a choice.

I think this wasn’t a fair match-up. The girls in the blue definitely need some more practice because their receiving power and ability is no as good at their other abilities.

im sorry but if my team was acting like the blue team, we wouldve had to run so many laps. we run laps everytime a ball drops. but my first game is on 8/30/21 so in 12 days

Girls starting to play volleyball don’t feel bad. One of the girls in my daughters team literally caught the ball & just stood there right in the middle of a game. The ball fell right in front of another & the girl didn’t even flinch to save her life. Another girl bounced the ball like the cool high school players (you know when you bend all the way over & bounce a few times) & got slapped right in the face with it. & a last another girl served (under arm) & I caught the ball on the stands🤔. I wish I was making all this up. But it’s okay they’ll get better & so will y’all🥴❤️‍🩹 keep practicing, y’all got this💞

I really wanted to be in volleyball and stuff this year but I have a lot going on and don't think I would be able to play but next year I'm thinking about for sure joining, girls that are already in volleyball may I ask - is it hard or like nerve racking because I have a huge fear of doing something wrong like messing up Infront of everyone or something also what is practice and tryouts like? 💞

As a person playing volleyball for 5 years it is hard and your hands can hurt but if you put your mind and work in it its very fun. its not a big deal If you mess up a shot so dont worry about that and tryouts are pretty good and fun they can just show you the basics how many hours it is and stuff like that practise is really fun and teachers can help you so yes dont worry about it

if im honest, its really difficult when you first start. because learning the basics can be quite difficult. I have been playing for about 6 months, and im nowhere near as good as most of my teammates, but honestly thats not a problem. my team are super friendly and supportive and i think thats bc volleyball is a very team focused sport (i dont know what your team is like, but in general volleyball teams seem to be quite friendly). even though im not the best, it is still so amazing. i love the game, and although its tough, you pick up on rules and skills very fast, especially if you're dedicated. practice times and things like that vary depending on the club, but usually the practices consist of a warm up/strength training, some serve, receive and blocking excercises, a water break (because you need it lol) and then an actual game at the end. when it comes to messing up, i have the same fear sometimes, its very normal, but the more comfortable you become with your teammates the less you worry about that, because they understand what its like to mess up, and will probably just try to help you. remember, everyone starts somewhere, and everybody knows what its like to be a beginner, so they wont judge you :) good luck with tryouts and I hope you enjoy 💕💕(sorry if some of this didnt make sense, english is not my first language :)

Honestly I kinda get jealous of these proper teams beacuse in my school we don’t do actual volley ball till grade 8 and it’s just for fun and I acually want to play competitive volleyball

well if they had masks on they couldn’t breathe very well. Like- do u see people on tv like the nba or nfl players wearin a mask during playing? Bc their moving and their doing a sport which means that if they have a mask on they can’t breathe well since their being active. That’s why their not wearing a mask bc if they do, they’ll literally run out of breath and then pass out if it gets out of hand

If Jesus would walk in shorts like that and even play some voleyball as well, he wouldn't have cured ppl and been one of civilized clothed persons among ppl on earth that God, his Father created with their purposes. Perhaps he would be just a worldy dying invalid or traumatized body parts' man. One side of multisides of seen moments of real life from Bible with modern volleyball/other sports time that tells the truth of today and tomorrow and even future and the past. The volleyball creation doesn't mean it's a right creation- another seen moment of the game.
