Ball movement with lbj is stagnant, many post up iso.. other than AD n LBJ, all other 3 members should be able to shoot 3's.. BI and kuz arent off ball players as lbj still requires the ball alot. Need teammates like prime k love and kyle korver 😅

Ingram is going to command a max contract. Lakers can’t afford him.

From value standpoint, I'd go with Lavine, who is equally injury prone and talented. You can get a FRP from Chicago. Whereas if you trade for Ingram, who I of course want him back, would cost us a ton of "assets" including FRP(s). Not to mention that if Ingram is extended next year, his contract will not be anything less than Lavine's . I understand that paying 2 FRPs for Cam Johnson, Kuz or Grant are too much. Dlo's contract value will go up near trade deadline. Be patient.

Whatever the Lakers do, it'll have to be a sign and trade, they are only $45,000 under the second apron, so it limits them to what they can do, they can't bring in more money then they send out.

it comes down to what is the goal of the trade. Maximize LB championship window which is closing fast? Or preparing for the post LB era? JSM correctly indicated the poor fit next to LB. Hopefully, Lakers stop focusing on name and instead on the fit. Lakers have been eliminated by the Nuggets the last two years. Both due to Lakers poor 4th quarter performance. Lakers desperately need better two way players at the SG and SF spots. The pairing of Dlo/AR isn't going to cut it in the playoffs. Lakers also need to upgrade SF but I don't see BI as the current solution.

What since does it make to trade for a player you traded away previously, who is an "isolation player" that also needs the ball in his hands, currently on a 1-year deal and probably feels slighted about being traded before. Lakers need a sizable big and 3pt shooting. Not an isolation player who operates in the mid-range. Demar Derozan honestly would've been a better fit and much cheaper too.
