Lake Powell Guide & Fall Update - Water Level & Lake Accessibility Update

Lake Powell is changing rapidly. Here's a brand new update of Lake Powell to guide you. Whether, you've been to Lake Powell before or not, this season is much different than before. This Lake Powell Update includes not only Wahweap Bay, Wahweap Marina, Glen Canyon Dam, Antelope Canyon, Antelope Point Marina, Navajo Canyon, Warm Creek Bay, Labyrinth Canyon, Gunsight Canyon, Padre Canyon, Padre Bay, & Kane Wash behind Cookie Jar Butt, but also we went back into Face Canyon, Last Chance Bay, and Rock Creek Bay. Whether you're in a powerboat, houseboat, or kayak, you'll appreciate this first hand look at the lake before you come. Although we gained somewhere near 18 feet of water this year, the lake is dropping from 1.5 to 3 inches per day now. Be on the lookout for storms and flash floods. We will be following this video up with a year-end "State Of The Lake" video, but I hope this update helps for the next couple of months.

The most common question I get is "Is there water still in Lake Powell?" As you can see, there's plenty of water still and as long as you are careful when exiting the middle of the lake, you'll be fine and have tons of fun.
For those who don't know, the area known as the Grand Circle includes not only the Grand Canyon, but also 10 other National Parks within a short trip from one another. This is going to be a fun summer. Follow along for some travel inspiration and fuel for your next travel adventure.

I loved Lake Powell as a kid and I am 58 years old now. When I was younger it was always filling up. The last time I went when I was a teenager it was very full and you could boat ride up to rainbow bridge. I hesitate to think how far of a hike rainbow bridge is now.

my parents told me about boating to rainbow bridge. ive been to the lake 4 times once a year starting in 2017. the lake was much fuller than it is now and you still had to walk a good while to reach rainbow bridge.

With low lake levels you can now see Cathedral in the desert and Gregory Arch.

Do you think I can take a house boat "75 Ft Excursion" through Antelope Point with a power boat in tow? We want to beach closer to Warm Water. Also, There is gas still at Antelope Point correct?

Individuals regularly tow power boats behind the Excursion through Antelope Point Marina. And there is still gas there. Be careful coming into Warm Creek Bay because there is hard to see shallow areas there.

Lake Powell is a wonderful beautiful place to visit and vacation. However, tree huggers and federal bureaucrats are draining the lake on purpose to cause stress and chaos for everyone that benefits from the lake, including everyone down stream.
