LAKE ONTARIO TRIB BROWNS SMASHIN STICK BAITS, Ft. the Yozuri Duel Hardcore 95F

With the spawn run coming to an end in our South Shore Lake Ontario tributaries, the fish turn their attention back to feeding and begin aggressively chasing baits. In this early December video, we land five scrappy spawned out hens on stickbaits. I'm fishing the Yozuri Duel Hardcore 95F flat side minnow for the first time, and Corey is fishing the Rapala Ripstop.

Great day out there for both of you. Seems the post spawned browns are hungry and love the body baits. Are those baits floating or suspending? They seem to be perfect for shallow water fish, great day out there.

The 95 F is a floater, but they make them in a suspending model too. The Yozuris fish really well and aren't super expensive at around $8. The fish were crazy this day in particular. Thanks for watching.

@@MudSharkZ Is there a rule in NY where you can’t use treble hooks on lures unless they are floating? This pertains for river and streams? Is that true? I sometimes fish the NY tribs and don’t want to fish illegally. Thanks

@@truenorthangler Yes, the rule on cranks and sticks is that the lure needs to float at rest.
