🇲🇰 OHRID, NORTH MACEDONIA - Hi everyone and welcome to my final video from the Balkans for 2020! This time, we’re heading to the south of North Macedonia to check out some things to do in Ohrid - located on Lake Ohrid, very close to the border with Albania.
Ohrid is a popular vacation spot for tourists from across the Balkans and is growing in popularity by the day! In this video we do as much we possibly can in one day, from visiting Ohrid’s ancient amphitheatre, Samuel’s Fortress and the old town as well as jumping on one of the many boat trips on Lake Ohrid to visit the Bay of Bones, a recreation of a prehistoric dwelling and the Monastery of St Naum. We also check out some food back in Ohrid itself at Hotel Tino!
So, if you’re planning a Macedonia trip this year, Ohrid really is a must. It’s beautiful!

Ohrid is amazing and also very good or the best expecialy for young people , im from Macedonia and i see turists from every corner of the world , i like very much from Ohrid Saint Jovan Kaneo and the path around lake , old carsija , beaches like Kuba Libre , Kadmo and others , also Plaoshnik , Bay of bones or in macedonian ostrovot na koskite , Saint Naum and many more places , i really like.and love my country 🇲🇰🇲🇰❤❤

I live next to Pacific Ocean 🌊 in Australia 🇦🇺 But Ohrid is do special .food culture . Beautiful beach st.tropez call TRPEJCA BEACH. And SV.NAUM magical place to visit. Burek for breakfast 4.am after the party yummy food.Magical place 🏖️🏖️🙏

This was beautiful! absolutely stunning place, l get a cross between Cannes and Monaco vibes from Ohrid. Its hard to believe it is actually a lake as it stretches far into the horizon. The sunset views from the fortress😘 The peacock she was beautiful lm a sucker for any kind of furry or feathered creature. Glad you did not dissapoint found some pspsps and a hill to climb up, all be it a little less treacherous than the cable car debarcle. David this has been the most enjoyable series North Macedonia really impressed me. Hope you have found your Happy Place in CDMX for now. 👍💜

Awesome video! Everything well explained. 🇲🇰 best town for sure, there is so much to see and explore in Ohrid. Also the mountains you mentioned, Ohrid has a National Park called Galichica, a very beautiful and underrated place. Keep it up with the content. 👌

Balkan's cats are home cats and are free to wander around, contrary to the cats in North America, that are always inside. After a well-spent day, cats always come home before the dark.

Hey not at all, I've never had a problem with Revolut. Back in the beginning my UK bank card was blocked SEVEN times in Asia despite informing the bank where I was so I don't use it anymore!
