6 of us visited Grand Canyon West a week after the grand opening in 2007. None of us were impressed with the tourist attractions there, including the Skywalk. And you are correct in saying that it's expensive.

"Up" is a relative term. Lake Mead is now about at the 2021 lowest level. That's a significant improvement. And with what we all hope is a very wet winter, Lake Mead should vastly improve this spring and summer.

I've never been to that area of Lake Mead, thanks for the virtual tour. Speaking of Grand Canyon Rafting trips, have you ever been to the put-in spot at Lees Ferry? I know you've been to the Navajo Bridge--next time you're in the area take a short drive down into Marble Canyon - fantastic scenery, interesting history and a campground with a great view. The Joshua Tree forest is super cool--I bet that area would be really nice in the springtime after some rain. I like how you caught the early morning light so the chollas in the parking area were all glowing. Until next time, happy trails!

What a beautiful day and video as usual 😊 I rafted the Grand Canyon(when I was younger) and indeed it was the trip of a lifetime ❤ Those rapids were no joke, Lava Falls made me want off the boat! Mostly it was just peaceful with breathtaking scenery. Havasu Creek was my favorite. So happy to see the water level up at Lake Mead 👍👍 Your videos remind me of all the good memories from Arizona Thank you Russ

There is a boat fishermen use to measure the lake levels, that sits up in a cove. It's standing with the bow straight up in the air which makes it easy to spot. The boat is now completely under water due to the heavy snow and rain fall. It's really good to see the water sheds filling back up after a long period of drought.

We even got a sprinkle this morning here. Rare and welcome but not really much to improve Lake Mead - just waters the shrubbery. Glad the water level in the big lakes is improving for each. We were in bad trouble water-wise before the last Winter's snow and rains. Still conserve as we desert residents should.

I'm so glad I clicked on your channel today. A KZreadr named Casey Neistat posted inn X (formally Twitter) seeking advice about traveling using a Sprinter van or RV next summer. I instantly thought of you. I've been so busy lately I can't keep up with all the YT channels I follow, but I replied to him and inserted your YT address, and said I initially ran across your channel when you were doing Lake Mead level updates. Then I saw you had just uploaded one! As usual your content is awesome and if Casey gets ahold of you I hope you can give him some pointers. Thanks. BTW, I still listen to the video you did walking up the trail at Devils Tower National Monument, because it is so calming.

Was just there last week, at 17:33 the island is almost gone. Just the top of the right side. The lake has gone up another 6” since last Thursday. It should gone by next month. I was there when they closed the launch after the tractor when swimming that June 2019. I think the ramp will be usable around 1075-80 feet. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
