Oh gosh....the memories of Kariba. We spend our holidays camping at Caribbea Bay. I remember driving with my dad and uncle up to the town Kariba, seeing buffalo and elephants along the way. Mentioning Salisbury...up til this day I still talk about Salisbury. What an beautiful country it used to be...but the beautiful memories will always live on in my heart.

So enjoyed having my mind taken back to long lost memories. My father worked for Irvin and Johnson in Bulawayo during those years. It was a lovely time.

wow, very well made. Her calm voice, the music in the background, together with all the old pictures...It's probably a good thing, I didn't live there during those times to have all those memories like this lady has, as it would be very upsetting to see what happened to Rhodesia/Zimbabwe after Mugabe's takeover. Country run into total ruins.

Lovely memories to treasure 🙏 I remember scanning all our negatives (with a professional scanner), and it took 12 minutes to scan a strip of 4 photos. It was like reliving all our memories in slow motion…
