Hiking to Lake Ingalls during spring is a breathtaking adventure. The trail begins with the sound of the raging North Fork Teanaway River, and as you ascend, the landscape transforms into vibrant wildflowers and fresh greenery. Higher up, the trail is still covered with snow, requiring gaiters to keep dry. The journey involves some postholing, but the effort is rewarded. Upon reaching Ingalls Lake, you'll find it just starting to melt. The majestic Mount Stuart stands tall in the background, its rocky sheer cliffs gleaming under the sunny sky.

No issue getting to the TH than? Once you hit snow did you follow the gps sticking close to the trail or did you break trail in the general direction of the lake?

No issue getting to the trailhead; the road is clear of snow. Once I hit snow, I was doing a bit of both: staying close to the trail when possible and breaking the trail in the general direction of the lake where needed.

@@anhnguyenghet9093 Thanks! The snow-covered trail makes the entire landscape look so different and magical. It took me about 7 hours in total because I was stopping often to take photos and videos, and to enjoy the views :)
