Congrats on the well deserved award!!! Brandon is the original “Git er done” guy. Removing over 200,000 pounds of trash from the GSMNP shoreline is truly an amazing feat, and he makes it look easy. Well done!

I don't personally know you Brandon but i was damn proud of you watching you get that award. That's something to be very proud of right there! Y'all are so wholesome, keep up the great work!

Sarah you content creation and editing skills are AMAZING! The cinematography, back ground music and narration are top notch! I teared up 3 times in this short video. 1st When u showed Granny Clampant with Brandon in the back ground loving on beautiful Iko. 2nd when Brandon received his MUCH DESERVED award. WAY TO GO BRANDO! 3rd seeing the love on your face describing how proud u are of him. Man u guys are so perfect for each other GET MARRIED ALREADY!! That award belongs at work, or on the console of the pontoon where more people will see it. I knew that Fontana Lake borders the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, and a national forest, but is the lake shore itself considered a national park? Brandon cleans up really well! Since I retired 11 years ago, I have put on a dress jacket twice, once for a funeral, once for a wedding.

He’s got it at work at the marina! 😊 the lake shore itself is the park, the water is where it becomes fontana lake (owned by TVA), but the land is the park.

Awww...my heart is happy watching this video. The loft looks fantastic! I love that you put your mind to it and it turned out maybe even better than you had imagined. Secondly, I can only imagine how big your heart swells with pride when you see Brandon being honored for the work he has done and for encouraging those around him to help and take pride in such a beautiful state. I think you are both wise beyond your years and the heart and careful consideration you put into the things in your life is inspirational. Wow! Congratulations 🎊 Brandon! I'm so glad I stumbled onto ya'lls channel when you were talking about the build of the new house. Watching that was fun, but getting to see the fruit of your hard work coordinating all the different agencies to come together to do such a huge project year after year for the past 5 years was a monumental feat that not very many people would bother to tackle alone. I'm so very happy to see the younger generation taking on projects like yours. I thought taking a couple trash bags with me as i do my morning walk/trash pick up was great, but you definately make a huge difference in the environment. Brandon you've done it on a scale that very few people could ever achieve. I wanted to compliment the loft transformation while I'm at it. Very nicely done with the coordinating color palet. I see big things happening in both of your future endeavors. I'm so glad I came across your channel. You both show the world that with a little bit of effort you can achieve great things as long as you are persistent in your efforts. Thank you for all the the environmental work you do. Nice job on the loft..and well done on the award...put the boom back on the model sailboat on the wall and its 100 %...just like the lovely clean lake which is the biggest reward of all..love your channel..i did live in Beaufort NC and love the place..but now live back in Australia on the great barrier reef..NC always had the nicest people, i hope to return there one day...back on a boat in the waterways infront of town.

Creators can’t disable the automatic closed captions, but they can go in and create their own instead. It would take quite a long time to write my own. But on my end it shows the closed captions are already created & available. I signed out & watched as a guest and the option was available then as well. I hope the same is true on your end now! 🤞

That’s just awesome I have so many questions. About how to start a clean up like that locally. What I keep running into is the Corps Of Engineers wants me to have event insurance and with it being a volunteer event, it’s hard to generate the funds for the event insurance.

funding is no doubt the toughest part. our dumpsters alone cost like $9,000… ugh. Most of our funding comes from the organizations we partner with. The entity that owns the lake, the town board, a couple nonprofits. Then we always get a few donations from private individuals who can’t make it or aren’t physically able to help but still want to pitch in. See what options might be available as far as grants go, & maybe ask the chamber of commerce or other local organizations and businesses what they can offer to have their name/logo on the t-shirts/banners/etc.
