If I’m not mistaking. You can still tribute a monster with Lilith while her effect is negated. You just won’t be able to pick choose trap cards since the tribute effect isn’t seen as the activated effect.

@tylerbeans7096 yeah I have try to play it that way the only problem is that the opponent will rarely let u resolve the first activation of lair any destruction or spell negation and u are screwed

seing this deck now forced to run floodgate and no other ladies of lament make me really sad about the actual yu gi oh state.

I loved Lair of Darkness but Konami crippled it with banlists to keep other decks in check (instead of banning cards from the problematic archetype) and refuses to release new support. Instead they use Rikka as their "Tribute your opponents monster" archetype. Now it needs to play a floodgate strategy to be able to compete at the lower levels of play.

When are we getting DDD deck?

These duels were kinda painful to watch. Why no tour guide? Is Muckraker from the underworld not in master duel yet? Are the other lady of lament monsters not there either? Does a small dogmatika engine work with this deck? Edit: never mind, I just saw muckraker in the deck list at the end.

Pure yang zing is quite slow. I have a deck with metalfoes combined with Yang zing. That way you don't have to wait for opponent to crash into them, and you can make some decent plays on your own turn

10min combo decks ruined this game. A proper “Stun deck” needs to be apart of this. Or atleast something to pace the meta. Fortunately for common players like you this decks a bit too slow now so 🙌 But “more & faster” isn’t always the answer
