16 year old singer-songwriter Laine (Lane) Hardy from Baton Rouge gives a touching performance of this classic by Bob Seger -Silver Bullet Band, for the Premiere of "Straight To The Heart" Music Festival in New York for the Association of Arts Professionals conference.
Lane is part of the Protégé and Mentorship program of the UltimateVocalMusicSummit.
"Straight to the Heart" is a musical production which Showcases a New Generation of Vocalists with Star Power and Messages of Hope for our Troubled Times. Few things lift the spirit like the sound of phenomenally talented young singers delivering songs directly from the heart, full of promise, hope and optimism. Coming from a variety of ethnic and religious backgrounds, these young prodigies along with Celebrity Artists, and an All- Star band combine their diverse talents in a show that spans inspired original compositions and inventive arrangements of classic pop, soul, rock R & B, World, and Arabic/Oriental classics. The show was created by celebrated music producer, composer and pianist Dawn Elder. Elder created and directs the Ultimate Vocal Music Summit, which nurtures gifted young singers through guidance from industry experts and mentors.
