It had too much of an effect on S5's finale I think, I'm sure everyone was worried at the time Ru would crown Alaska just because of Sharon... I'm sure having that kind of pressure and bias isn't good to have and kind of made everything sort of imbalanced and unfair at the end because Alaska's relationship as you said to Sharon was a huge factor in the season and probably was what kept her talent aside

ardianworld basically the producers at WOW don't like Willam bc she has called them out on several occasions bc she understands how TV works or something (Reddit explains, also Suck Less spills the full tea) But this specific tea was from an interview with Willam where she that Laila wasn't allowed to mention her name in a WOW video (I presume it's this one).
