That made me smile! You know it’s the first thing I ask for when I enter Pakistan 😆.. I have tried to recreate it at home but it never tastes as good.. and a milky chai in any other south Asian country is simply not the same! Counting down the months before I return end of this year! 😁

The actual name for testicles is Kapooray.... Kata kat or taka tak is just the style in which it is made by chopping it up...

I was also offered to try this when I was in Lahore and respectfully declined due to my bad stomach 😂 I'm sure it's not actually famous as I didn't find many locals that actually like it haha. I love how dramatic you made the tasting section with the music hahaha

@Carrie, the kata kat is basically organ meat, just adding testicles to it shouldn't put someone off. One thing I will never eat though is beef tripe (stomach)

Oh my goodness That yummy *chai* (tea) *served in a polystyrene cup* What the heck! *Those Three tea makers* might have o.kish hair And *know about* a _pixie cut_ or _a bun_ hairstyle.. But *No way* does a conmesiseur / a *professional tea maker give you a plastic cup* ! Complain to the local Karachi authorities. Good video. Keep sharing

What a load of b*ll*cks Carrie lol! 🤣 You're such a brave woman trying that as I'd never give trying that a second thought, but you did at least get me to try calamari last year! It's a shame that plastic / polystyrene usage is so high in South Asia when they have ceramic & terracotta cups widely available; the tea even tastes better in them. I have witnessed at Bangladesh tea stalls where they were served in a cup & saucer, customers would pour the tea onto the saucer so it'd cool faster & slurp it from there, so no one would have batted an eye lid if you'd done the same! Looking forward to the next one & have a wonderful week my dear 🤗

I don't think there were any testicals in that dish. Katakat doesn't always mean that it must have that thing in it. I didn't witness it while the man was cooking. Perhaps it might make you feel better after knowing that you didn't really eat that thing lol

You have limitations of food bks there is no fish items in Pakistan as like Bangladesh. Bangladesh has more than 100 fish items along with meet . So food heaven is in Bangladesh not in Pakistan.
