Sadhana Sargam has given hundreds of hits to nepali music industry. Along with asha bhosle, she has the most number of hits in nepali music for any indian female singer. She, Deepa Jha(Udit Narayan's wife), Sushma Shretha(Poornima in bollywood),Sanjeevni(another indian singer) ruled the whole 90s and 2000s like Alka Yagnik, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Anuradha Podwal did in bollywood 90s.

Here in 2024. This was the second movie I watched in a cinema hall, probably 7 years of age. Good ol' days!

Fun fact: This song is composed by legendary musician Mr. Ranjit Gazmer, who was one of the NAVRATNAS (R.D. Burman's core team). He has played the Maadal instrument in all the classic R.D.Burman hits, that's his signature instrument playing here. And as a music arranger myself, it gives me an inferiority complex to know that when the core composition is this great, you don't require ANY ARRANGEMENT AT ALL except just a well tuned Maadal playing the same groove for 6 minutes straight lol. Anyway, lots of great memories of seeing all my classmates perform this great song in the hill school I studied in.
